Live Activations

Add charms to an item with Plump Charms: Each adorable charm is handmade with clay and individually hand painted by maker Caitlin, making each one super special and sentimental. The teeny tiny deli items are my faves of course, the little Perello olives and Maldon salt especially! Mix and match your faves, and Caitlin will create your bespoke necklace, bracelet or bag charm then and there, ready to take home on the day.

Commission a pet portrait and use the mini-print vending machine with GiFlynn Design: Gina is one of the most talented artists we’ve ever worked with. The way she can capture your dog is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before, somehow even more emotive and lifelike than a photo. On market day Gina can draw your dog in the moment on a tote bag. You’ll also be able to pre-order these, and portraits painted on other items like keyrings, denim jackets and of course paper too. As well as this, Gina will be launching a new collection of art prints, original framed paintings, bestselling embroidered caps and she’ll have her mini-print vending machine! So many gifts for the pet obsessed person in your life.

Personalised calligraphy by Studio MarieClaire: Having previously worked for Chanel, Miu Miu and Prada amongst many other designer clients, we couldn’t be more proud to share that Calligraphy artist Marie-Claire will be offering personalised Christmas gifts at our next market. From newly designed Christmas cards to linen stocking and baubles, each can be personalised with a name written beautifully in traditional calligraphy style. MC will also have a festive range of bestselling cocktail napkins, each embroidered with a chic motif. These make such beautiful gifts.

Hand-embroidered personalisation from Rosie Brain Embroidery: Talented artist Rosie will be offering custom hand embroidered lettering on her iconic silk ornaments. The perfect gift, she can add an initial to any of her lobsters, flowers and new Christmas ornaments! Ideal to hang on your Christmas tree. She’ll also have more sell-out bag charms, South London location decorations, new silk ribbons, napkin sets and she’ll even be offering discounts for multibuy pre-orders of ornaments with delivery in time for Xmas!

Customise a necklace with First Time Lucky: After a runaway success at our last event together that saw Lily have a giant crowd and queue at her market stall, we knew you’d want us to bring back First Time Lucky! Simply decide ont a chain and choose from a selection of adorable gold charms that you can add to it. All items are waterproof, and once completed your piece will come in a gorgeous box that makes it the perfect gift. Lily will even have some special bundle offers on the day.

Vintage, Handmade, Preloved & Vintage fashion

Miller & Moore: Pre-loved and size inclusive fashion is coming to our next market! Because lovely Daisy at Miller & Moore sells not only vintage pieces but also pre-loved current high street pieces, it’s easier for her to have a range of sizes available for you to shop on her rail, which we know is soo important to you (and so important to us too) Expect excellent quality, brands you’ll recognise and super affordable options alongside some designer names too. Making sustainable shopping easier and more enjoyable, and you can actually try things on before you buy.

Croc & Maraboo: If you're heading to a wedding or an occasion this season, I think Ausra will have something perfect for you! She creates the most special one-of-a-kind handmade designs using vintage and high quality fabrics. Beautiful patterns and prints, gorgeous oversized shapes, stunning little details; her dresses and co-ords have just the right mix of wow-factor and wearability.

The Marcon Court Project: Founded in 2016, The Marcon Court Project is pushing back against the fast fashion machine with joyful and expressive clothing made slowly in London. Using vintage, deadstock and responsibly sourced fabrics, every piece is a small act of resistance, stitched with purpose by fairly paid hands. Iconic South London fashion designer Laura returns to Salad Days market with a new brushed cotton fabric Olivia blouse in an exclusive print with matching long bloomers, especially or customers on the day!
