We’re buzzing to bring you another popup small business market, this time in an incredible centra London location! So you can shop with more amazing small businesses and makers even more easily than ever before. Find Salad Days Market at The Ministry, which is a private members club right in the heart of London. Just a few minutes walk from Borough tube, London Bridge and Elephant & Castle stations.

Especially for our popup market, The Ministry will be opening its doors to the public, which means anyone can attend our market and you don’t need to be a member!

This venue has a sun filled courtyard and a cafe serving cocktails, iced coffees, pastries and sarnies on site. There’s also a Salad Days themed photobooth in the basement which we are absolutely buzzing about!! The perfect memento on a fun day out with friends.

Come and collect the brand new set of Disco themed mini artworks on market day, plus shop the new collection of embroidered caps and bookmarks launching especially for the day.

Made using only natural, vintage and deadstock materials with a strong focus on sustainability; dyeing with handmade, natural concoctions and creating pieces that will be cherished forever.

NEW! Bou Soi: Megan works with expert seamstresses in London to create her playful and fun pieces, working only in natural plant based fabrics that feel as good as they look. These simple silhouettes are the ideal throw-on pieces for Summer.

NEW! DesignerFriday: These block print dresses and cute cropped jackets are made in the most beautiful and colourful fabrics, designed by Bhavna Rishi with flattering silhouettes and a deep appreciation for traditional craft.

Studio Remade: As featured in The Guardian and The Telegraph, fashion designer Rachel reworks existing fabrics in to genuinely stylish items. She’s best known for her use of preloved denim, reworking this versatile material with colourful cotton to make dresses that look unique but are so easy to wear.

NEW! MUCHU: New to the market, MUCHU is a slow fashion accessories brand rooted in conscious design and individuality. Everything is intentional, not rushed and handmade with one of a kind spirit. Each 1 of 1 accessory is created from pre-loved, deadstock or donated materials. For those who value personal style over trends.

Faye Studios: Shop Lydia’s sell-out handmade handbags, designed for the girls who love a cute, one of a kind Pinterest style accessory. Or if you fancy having a go yourself you can also pick up a sewing pattern instead! Especially for this market Lydia is releasing a pattern for her most popular bag style to date, so it’s sure to be a hit.

Franc Designs: Menswear designer Frankie crafts bags, key chains, fashion and other accessories using repurposed army surplus uniforms and dead stock fabrics, sourcing from markets, charity shops and surplus shops. For this market shop the brand new hot-pink lace bags which we are absolutely dying over.

Studio Kyodai: Scarlett uses buttery soft deadstock leathers in an array of gorgeous rainbow shades to make her beautiful bags; each one is crafted by her in her South London studio.

NEW! Adored Again: Adored Again is a sustainable watch brand specialising in beautifully restored vintage watches and thoughtfully designed new timepieces. Enjoy complimentary watch resizing on the day so you can leave with a watch fitted exactly to you at no extra cost.

NEW! De Rosario: Shop these sculptural pieces from London based jewellery brand De Rosario for the first time at our market. Every piece is made right here in London, with no two being identical.

Sharlala Jewellery: You probably know and love Sharla by now, she’s one of our best-selling jewellery brands of all time. A master jeweller, she crafts her stunning, wobbly and rainbow coloured jewels from start to finish herself, including setting each beautiful gemstone. It’s super rare for a jeweller to complete every stage themselves which is why we love supporting Sharla in her craft; she’s a real treasure.

Blume Jewellery: Featuring only solid gold and sterling silver pieces (and lots of colourful gemstones) curator Georgia hunts down the most beautiful vintage and preloved pieces to showcase. Especially for market day she’s bringing a wide selection of vintage rings and wedding bands, plus lots vintage silver charms, bracelets and lockets along with a selection of Georige’s bespoke rings too.

May May: At May May every piece of jewellery is handmade by maker Mai, featuring pieces made from vintage beads, Czech glass and Murano glass beads. Each item is deeply inspired by May’s Vietnamese heritage, making these is a way for her to stay connected to those roots and share a piece of her identity with the world.

Momo Creatura: Momo Creatura is the physical embodiment of maker Momo’s passion for art and jewellery. With a background in fine arts and extensive training in jewellery making across Japan and the UK, she started her small business journey after graduating from Central St Martin’s. Inspired by European old artefacts, natural history, and the world of storytelling, her magical creations are like portals to another (more beautiful!) world. Each piece is carefully designed to tell a story, and is handcrafted using recycled silver and gold at her atelier in the heart of London’s Jewellery Quarter, Hatton Garden.

NEW! Clevedon Clay: New to the market, Nicola’s ceramics feature botanical imprints in white earthenware clay. Each functional piece is then individually painted with seasonal garden and hedgerow flowers to recreate the colours of nature. Prices range from just Β£6.50.

Toast Studios: Maker Evie describes herself as a classically trained art historan turned ecclectic Grandpa ceramicist which should make you intrigued enough to visit her market stall! Evie's creative mind never ceases to amaze me, from baking dishes handpainted with all your favourite Girl Dinner items, bestselling Maldon Salt vessels, cowboy boot matchstick strikers and preloved sylvanian families with handmade outfits. You never quite know what to expect which is why we love her.

Tanushka: Discover handmade ceramics, art and jewellery by multi-disciplinary artist Tania Codreanu. Taking inspiration from folk art, cultural symbols, and traditional craft techniques Tania’s special creations are all a one-of-a-kind expression - unpolished, authentic, and alive with the traces of the artist’s hands.

The Modern Factory: All your girlie whims and dreams, made in ceramic. Pink, red, bows, stripes, checkerboard! Plus new butter dishes made especially for the market featuring a Cherry shaped handle and possibly other fruity designs too. I can’t think of anything more amazing. Of course Asha will have her iconic handmade jesmonite games boards including handmade chess (in bright pink and red) handmade Scrabble and handmade Dominos complete with cute heart symbols. Really unique!

Logan Forms: Logan creates small batch collections of functional forms with a sculptural feel. Her work often derives inspiration from nature and features hand-carved surface details. The best-selling dial calendars that went crazy viral on TikTok and a new build-your-own bag charm station will also be featured at this market.

Lucy Lucy Designs: These Colourful ceramics with gold lustre detail handmade right in the heart of South Wales. Featuring adorable motifs with cats, dogs, rainbows and more. These always sell out really quickly.

My Moka Home: Zoe runs a niche small business selling vintage, rare and collectable moka pot. She sources each one directly from Italy meaning she has brands, shapes, colours and designs you won't find here in the UK. Alongisde a small range of cups and Italian coffee; she has everything you need to create the most dreamy and delicious morning brew at home.

NEW! Visionsbysar: Artwork for the fashion obsessed girly girls! At Sarah’s market stall you can shop her original artwork and prints, plus take the opportunity to subscribe to her monthly mail club, or build your own personalised sticker pack. Sooo many cute things I’m obsessed.

NEW! Lulu In The Stars: Stylist and vintage collector Lou is inspired by her favourite retro aesthetic when creating. Exclusively for the market, shop: Hand painted, one off mini canvas magnets featuring cult movies including Legally Blond, Almost Famous, Before Sunrise, Virgin Suicides and Never Been Kissed. Plus handpainted tote bags with South London motifs for local locations and a wall banner bar where handpainted wall banners have customisation options!

Goose Glitters: Laura at Goose Glitters transforms vintage papers into delightful new collages which she uses to create a whole array of different paper products. She spends hours scouring car boot sales and vintage shops for old catalogues, cards, books and magazines, flicking through the pages to find the most interesting and fun images, cutting each one out by hand and then rearranging all the different elements into a new collage. It’s so clever and takes real time!

Sarah Goodwin Design: This South London based artist and print designer loves painting classic, timeless motifs in bold and unusual colour combinations, which go on to be the most stylish prints, cards and other paper goods. Sarah is best known for her sell-out photo mounts that come in a selection of patterns and colours. These always sell out early so don’t miss getting yours!

NEW! klgdoodles: Klgdoodles is a queer woman owned small business brand filled to the brim with goodies to help you fall in love with your inner child again! Katie make silly stickers, sheets, keyrings and the most amazing rosettes featuring Sylvanian Families omg.

GuBu And The Bread Family: GuBu and The Bread Family is an original character design brand that brings illustrated worlds and characters to life through art and merchandise. The Bread Family is inspired by Asian baked treats reimagined as cuddly, animal-like companions. Their slightly mismatched identities reflect the experience of growing up across different cultures while searching for a sense of belonging. Lydia Southgate: Junk journal girlies, this one is for you! The lovely Lydia runs an illustrated paper goods and stationery brand, with a big focus on journalling supplies including cute papers, sticker sheets, washi tape and more. She designs everything with her younger self in mind, creating things that she knows her ten year old self would have loved.

There is a cafe inside The Ministry that serves hot and cold drinks and some food. This is owned and operated by The Ministry. All food and beverage served here is the responsibility of The Ministry so please speak to their member of staff about any requirements or allergies.
