We’re hosting a one day market at The Hoxton Hotel this July!
Our one-day market will focus on sustainable and handmade fashion, jewellery and accessories.
After a successful event there last year which saw hundreds of you shopping small in luxurious surroundings, we’re thrilled that we’re going to be hosting another market at The Hoxton Hotel in Southwark this summer!
We’ll be popping up there for one day, and one day only, on Saturday 15th July from 11am - 3pm with an ultra curated edit of 30 makers and small businesses all focused around sustainable and vintage fashion. From one-of-a-kind dresses to vintage jewellery and handmade handbags, the market will include everything you need to refresh your wardrobe for summer, plus lots of other gorgeous accessories and homeware too! (And we’re buzzing that lots of the brands will have exclusive discounts for the day).
We want to make this your one-stop shop to pick up sustainable and beautifully-made fashion so expect to find the best of the best when it comes to small fashion brands. Get measured for your very own handmade dress. Browse rails of the best curated vintage pieces you won’t find anywhere else. Touch and try on beautiful gem-encrusted jewellery made by Hatton Garden’s master craftspeople. Choose between colours on your favourite handmade bags, created right here in the city. We’ll have changing areas and full length mirrors to give you that top tier experience you just can’t get on the highstreet anymore!
You might know The Hoxton Hotel because of their iconic first location in Shoreditch, which was founded in 2006, long before the overground was built. They have since expanded across London and now have hotels around the world and in each corner of our incredible capital city, including the original Shoreditch brand, plus Holborn, Shepherds Bush and of course Southwark which is where we’ll be appearing. The hotels are known for their gorgeous and cosy interiors that make it feel like a home away from home, also making it a gorgeous backdrop to the incredible handmade and vintage products we’ll be showcasing.
Building on the success of our last pop-up event there, we’ll be taking over an even bigger space and expanding our offering there. So as well as the Mezzanine Level (which includes a bar where you can pick up a delicious cocktail!) we’ll be in the Apartment, plus The Den, Library and Living Room spaces. The whole thing will have a cool homey vibe, and the hotel staff will be on hand at their bars and in-house restaurants for coffees, drinks, pastries and delicious treats you can enjoy as you peruse the market. There’s even a wrap-around balcony that curves around the whole space we’ll be in, where you can soak up the sun with a drink.
Once you’re done shopping, stick around in the Hotel and head up to their rooftop restaurant Seabird which has incredible floor-to-ceiling glass windows that give you a 180 degree vista of the city. They have a giant terrace up their too, on which you can sit, have a drink and soak up the sun while looking at the iconic city skyline. Inside, they have other more casual eating and drinking areas including a bar downstairs, Albie their second in-house restaurant, plus a cute terrace out the front where you can have a coffee and people watch! The perfect place to make a day of it, and it’s dog friendly too.
And most importantly, the whole hotel is air conditioned - and has a rooftop restaurant! Making it a comfortable place to shop, browse, meet friends, drink cocktails and enjoy brunch in the height of summer, come rain or shine. Grab an iced beverage, and meet us on the Mezzanine Level on the first floor to start shopping!
