Handmade, vintage and other fashion brands
Harriet Hill: I first saw these on social media and am now beside myself that they will be appearing at the market again! Harriet runs a handmade slow fashion knitwear brand that focuses on the fun and whimsical; her Diet Coke pieces and tulips in particular always are a big hit with the girlies! With a background in knitwear design, every item is made by Harriet with passion and love that she hopes you feel when you wear her creations. She’ll be launching her new autumn/winter range, that’s yet unseen or been sold at any market yet. With a focus on sailor collars, beanies, scarves and bonnets, as well as a new range of vests and cardigans. Cute, cosy, ideal for Christmas.
Lydia Ellen: These one of a kind upcycled pieces are playful, delightful, inspiring and full of happy JOY that will make you want to wear them all season long. Founder Lydia spent many happy hours with her mum and Nana Mud uncovering fabrics at charity shops and markets, and it's this lifelong passion which inspires each of her designs today. Every top, dress and accessory is handmade by her in England using preloved fabrics, making them more sustainable and ultra limited edition. Gingham, bows, oversized collars and more, we know you're going to fall in love with these pieces just like we have. I have three of her clever wrap tops and get so many compliments on them.
Worn to Threads: Worn To Threads has become well known for the absolutely beautiful patterned vintage fabrics founder Izzy uses. The most stunning little waistcoat made from 1986 Morris & Co fabric that used to be a pair of curtains, a wool coat expertly reworked from an artistically patterned blanket, a padded jacket cut from a patchwork quilt with the most exceptionally clever pattern placement I’ve ever seen! Every single one is a feast for the eyes, a celebration of the most special textiles and craftsmanship, and of course totally one-of-a-kind. These are the sort of things that make me feel so excited about the future of fashion. Sustainable and original. Unbeatable. For December she’ll have a new collection of jackets and coats plus scrunchies, Christmas stockings, mini pouches, bags and so patchworked art tapestries - a new project she’s just started working on!
The Gather: Celebrating craftsmanship and care, this gorgeous knitwear is crafted from 100% natural wool sourced from Scotland, and made in Portugal. The brand was born from a genuine love of knitwear; these pieces are a reminder of family moments spent wrapped in your favourite jumpers, evoking a sense of home and comfort. Wrapping yourself in one of these knits is guaranteed to evote feelings of calm, warmth, and they look extremely chic too.

Pond in The Fish iwas founded in 2022 in Hong Kong, but is currently based in London, making this a great opportunity to see, try on and shop their pieces here in real life. The work is inspired by Chinese grammatology; some pieces are influenced by the Oracle Bone Script from 1600 BCE, others show traces of the methodology of Zhuan character seal stamp carving.

The best sellers are the side plates glazed in bright Naples Yellow they reallllllly shine unlike any other (they’ll have new versions with an added cowboy for the market!) And the avocado guacamole bowl, which always brings a smile to people because it literally looks exactly like an avocado itself! We always love bringing you something new: Amelia only started her business in May and so you probably won’t have seen or shopped it before!
She Snacks and Paints: We have been so inspired by this incredible artist, who has created the poster for this market, and we couldn't be more happy to welcome her back to the market! When I look at Helen's work I always imagine myself as the woman she paints, wearing a colourful silk scarf over her head, shopping for pasta, wearing leopard print ballet pumps with big boquets of flowers in my home! I adore the imagined world and life she's created, so fully of beauty and wonder. I find her prints with inspirational messages so gorgeous too.
