Salad Days Market is on the front cover of a newspaper!

We’re so beyond proud to tell you that in December 2024 we were chosen to be on the front cover of The South Londoner, alongside a whole feature about the market!

A few weeks ago we received an email from journalist Eliza Frost who asked if she could interview us for the local paper. The South Londoner is distributed all around the areas we work and live, and we often pick it up to see what’s going on, so it felt like an absolutely huge opportunity for us. Something super exciting. Of everything going on in all the boroughs south of the river, they wanted to know more about us!

We met Eliza at The Alma in Crystal Palace, our favourite pub, and chatted to her for hours all about the market but about our shared love of this city. It was such a lovely meeting of minds and it was also a lovely opportunity for us to hype up all our favourite local spots and brands.

We knew we’d have a feature inside the paper, but when it finally dropped we couldn’t believe our eyes that we were on the actual front cover of the paper too!! We managed to get hold of a couple of physical copies which we will treasure. It’s so crazy to think our market, which we started on a whim five years ago, has now been featured on the cover of a newspaper. Wow.
