What’s it all about?
Shop Small Spread Joy is a campaign we originally created for Christmas 2020, but it’s grown to become a worldwide movement! We created it for our community of small business lovers, to celebrate what’s so amazing about shopping with indies during the festive season – and beyond.
What does it mean?
When you buy something from an independent retailer, not only are you getting a unique, thoughtful, often more sustainable, potentially personalised present (whether it’s for you, or as a gift for a loved one) you’re helping someone live their dream by supporting their business. It’s a double helping of joy.
How do I get involved?
Any small business can use the #ShopSmallSpreadJoy hashtag! It’s a simple way to get involved in our community. Since launching the campaign at the end of 2020, almost 70,000 posts have used it on Instagram. All we ask is that you don’t use it to advertise other markets. Thanks!
