Visit Salad Days Christmas market inside Selfridges this November!

We are so thrilled, proud and honoured to announce that we will be popping up at the one and only Selfridges for the fifth time.

That’s right! This November, Salad Days Market will be returning to the best department store in the world with a pop-up Christmas Market. Featuring 15 of the UK’s most incredible small brands, we’ve curated our pop-up market to be your one-stop place to shop small for Christmas, featuring a really broad variety of handmade products from fine gemstone encrusted jewellery, to party-ready bags, personalised stockings for your mantlepiece, one-of-a-kind vintage homeware to create the most incredible tablescapes, live portraits, and cute art prints to gift to your besties.

As ever, our pop-up market at Selfridges will put incredible craftsmanship front and centre; all the products you’ll find there have either been handmade in the UK or are vintage, not only making this an easy way to Christmas shop more sustainably but a really exciting place to discover beautiful things you won’t find anywhere else.

As well as shopping, we’ll have a range of cute live activities for you to take part in including live portrait painting from the one-and-only illustrator Eleanor Joanna, as well as a station where you can pick ‘n’ mix vintage charms to create your own dream charm necklace or bracelet from Carat, and a live personalisation station where calligrapher MarieClaire will be on hand to personalise your choice of greetings card, bauble or stocking.

Having popped up at Selfridges for the past three years, we’re so proud to be welcomed back into the iconic Oxford Street store from Thursday 14th - Sunday 17th November and think it illustrates the exciting changes happening in the retail world. We’ll be located in the glamorous Accessories Hall alongside other luxury designer brands, in a central London location, making it even easier for more shoppers to discover and shop with small brands. Your support at these pop-ups means absolutely everything to us, and we really hope we’ll see you there.

The brands taking part:

Studio Marie Claire: The ultimate in quiet luxury; this London based boutique design studio specialises in bespoke calligraphy and luxurious lettering. She’ll be live personalising items at the pop-up so you can have a stocking, greetings card or bauble with your name of choice!

OG Studio: A riot of chunky settings and colourful gemstones, Ozlem's jewels are anything but ordinary. Each piece is unique and handmade in London and excitingly she’ll have a small number of new solid gold rings for the pop-up.

Saltwater: Megan's one-of-a-kind jewels are individually handmade using a variety of new, preloved and found objects including shells, vintage beads and pearls. As worn by the one and only Zendaya!

Hannah Bourn: This award-winning jewellery designer hopes to reconnect the wearer to the world through her sculptural handmade jewels, each one directly inspired by the ocean and handmade here in the UK.

Edie Collection: Discover the best of the 80s, 90s and 00s in this highly curated edit of true vintage costume jewellery. The gorgeous Sarah is a master at picking iconic and timeless pieces you’ll cherish and wear forever; her selection is second to none.

Carat: Vintage magpie Esme hunts out the best solid gold vintage jewellery with a particular eye for timeless classics including hoops and chains. She’ll have an edit of charms so you can create your very own charm necklace too.

Studio Spokes: From vintage tea towel to highly covetable new top; Designer Natasha is a master at turning materials that already exist into new one-of-a-kind pieces of clothing. She’ll have exclusive new “London” themed pieces for the pop-up!

Grandpas Shirts: South London maker Gaby transforms preloved shirts into new one-of-a-kind tops complete with her signature ric rac trim and oversized collars. We’re excited to shop her new sparkly and velvet shirts; a chic take on festive styling.

Tabula Vintage: Rebecca's highly curated edits of vintage homeware are fabulously kitsch, bringing the best of the past into your home today. She’ll have all the special treasures you need to dress up your Christmas table, tree and mantlepiece.

Lazy Home: Discover Jade's curated edit of unique vintage homware; sourced directly from the antiques markets in France. From her best-selling vintage ashtrays (perfect for cluster girlies!) to lamps and tableware, she’ll have so many unique treasures to dress your home for Christmas.

Roop: The one, the only! The original it-girl bag brand, maker Natasha creates her signature furoshiki bags and hair accessories from only the most special preloved fabrics. She’ll have new and exclusive colours launching for the pop-up, eek!

Urania: London-based high perfumery Urania crafts long-lasting, unique, and empowering fragrances that explore themes of identity and self-expression. Each scent is hand-blended and poured in London and he’ll have a brand new scent launching at the pop-up.

Hollie Startup: The talented London artist Hollie's illustrations are full of feelings, and celebrate life's most joyful little moments. So relatable is her artwork, she’s amassed a large and loyal audience who snap up everything she makes. She’s also the designer of our event poster!

Eleanor Joanna: London artist Eleanor's illustrations are whimsical and full of character. Alongside her charming prints and decorative matchboxes she’ll be offering cute live portraits so you can take home a memento of your Christmas (they also make an excellent gift!)

AMI London: Whether its their nourishingly rich skincare, heavenly scented candles or diffusers, AMI London's collection is developed to offer a luxurious at-home experience. Her new product has been a year in the making and will launch exclusively at the pop-up!
