Handbags & Accessories
NEW! The Contents Bag: The Contents Bag is a tote bag like no other. It’s bigger and (we think) better. Made from water resistant Scottish waxed cotton, constructed at London based social enterprise, and crafted with care in the UK, these big bags are designed for stylish women on the go. Their size and shape means they're made to carry quite literally every single you might need in your day: gym kit, make-up bag, water bottle, book; it'll all fit in here. There are a couple of sizes on offer depending just how big you want to go. The perfect puchase at the market as it can then carry all your other treasures home, I'm eyeing up the brown and black stripe.
NEW! Bea Simple: Cristina make sustainable products that help you express your unique personality, because ultimately she wants to encourage you to just be yourself! She uses eco-friendly materials and deadstock fabrics that would otherwise go to waste, meaning items are often limited edition and all the more special. Take your pick from her handmade makeup bags, scrunchies and new items including iPad cases, laptop cases and the real star of the show: the brand new bags. These are so colourful and textural, I think they'd be so gorgeous for your next summer holiday.
Talk & Tell: There's always a huge crowd around Chloe's stall so we know you'll be excited to see Talk and Tell back with us at Battersea Power Station. They have the cutest tech accessories, stationery and more all designed by lovely founder and small biz owner Chloe. Think patterned but protective phone cases, phone straps and more with a design to suit literally everyone. I get so many compliments on my cherry case!
Jewellery
NEW! Clari Worldwide: Maker Claire sources vintage pendants and cleverly solders them into new jewellery designs that are sooo special and different. This also means that each piece she makes, whether it’s a pendant or necklace is 1/1. While each piece is totally unique, there's a girly romance that weaves its way through all of her creations, whether it's using pink beads, hearts of vintage cameos. Just gorgeous.
NEW! Ferb Hams: No doubt inspired by her undergrad in Art of the Middle Ages, Phoebe strives to make art that can be worn as jewellery. Her USP is that her jewellery masterfully combines hand-painted ceramics and silversmithing into one, and while each design is unique there's definitely a magical and historic vibe that weaves its way through each piece. Unlike things you find on the highstreet with a questionable provinence, Phoebe prides herself on being responsible for the entirety of product and she carves, casts and paints each one. A real labour of love and skill. Excitingly she has just finished a fresh batch of ceramics which she’ll be incorporating into silver pieces for the market, I cannot WAIT to see these.
NEW! Oisin Jewellery: If you love handcrafted jewellery with that chic raw, organic aesthetic, then you'll be excited to discover new brand Oisin Jewellery at the market. Maker Oisin works primarily in sterling silver with natural gemstones, often casting molten metal directly over stones to create unique, one-of-a-kind designs (also, wow!) Her process embraces texture and imperfection, making each piece truly individual. And at markets she usually has super competitive prices, so it's worth coming down to see, touch and try them on for yourself and hopefully bag a bit of a bargain.
Sorrell Jewels: What treasures will market favourite Emily have sourced for us this time? It would 't be a market without her, she is the ultimate go to gal for vintage rings, charms and more. A visit to her stall is a deep dive in to a magical treasure chest of solid silver and gold goodies. Her curation is so unique, so special, including a range of price points, sizes and styles so there's something for everyone. As everything is vintage or antique they're also one-of-a-kind so we recommend coming early if there's something specific you're looking for.
Musée Roo: You can easily loose a couple of hours at the market browsing maker Roo’s sumptuous market stall because it’s packed to the brim with her handmade historically inspired jewellery. A real feast for the eyes! Everything about Roo’s world feels so personal and full of character, drawing inspiration from so many reference points and using materials she's collected from her travels around the world, they are also truly unique and special.
This Story Jewellery: Wearable tokens of love, luck and magic, handmade with recycled precious metals by Anna all the way in Margate. We feel incredibly honoured that this talented maker is journeying all the way to London especially for our market inside Battersea Power Station. She’ll be bringing a plethora of special designs including her iconic and bestselling Bow Rings, so don’t miss the opportunity to experience her cute, personality filled gems IRL and find the perfect piece to take home.
Skincare & Beauty
NEW! CA Blooms: A clinical scientist by day, it was Chika’s passion for creating effective, science-backed products led to her brand’s inception in 2022. The idea for CA BLOOMS was born during the COVID-19 pandemic when she sought to develop hair care products that could repair the damage caused by repeated braiding. Drawing on scientific expertise, she formulated nourishing hair butters and oils that delivered impressive results, which has now has expanded to include a thoughtfully curated range of paraben-free, vegan-friendly, and cruelty-free liquid soaps and lotions as well as hand-poured candles. Excitingly she’ll be launching a brand new and limited edition candle scent for the market.
Ruva: Ruva Skincare founder Ruth is a certified natural skincare formulator, whose mission is to help you achieve your best skin to leave you feeling your most confident. Celebrating her Zimbabwean origins, Ruth harnesses the power of African botanicals like shea butter to create simple and mission driven products that really work. Ruth is also the biggest babe and so shopping with her is such a pleasure.
Ceramics & Pottery
NEW! Little Bug Ceramics: As the name suggests, these ceramics are sooo cute! Maker Jackie aims to make functional art to bring a bit of joy to everyday activities, like having your morning cup of coffee out of the most adorable handmade mug. There's a charming playful quality about the designs, shapes and glazes Jackie uses that really speak to my inner child and make me feel so happy!
Shiny Happy Pottery: After taking a taster class in pottery three years ago, Emily instantly became hooked! And now spends her days in her little shed at the bottom of her garden in Bristol producing the sweetest ceramics we’ve ever seen. Using the traditional pinchpotting technique she cleverly makes items that are gorgeous to look at with a charming organic quality. Our faves are her mugs which she labours over with a fine paintbrush to achieve the loveliest patterns and designs, many of which also have fancy metallic details that really make them more special than anything else we've seen.
Superfluities: Adorned with an abundance of gorgeous frills, potter Catherine has a magical knack for making everyday household items feel so exciting and special. From the humble egg cups to statement lamp bases, her lovingly handmade ceramics are finished with the all-important frilly edges that make them so original. Every piece is handbuilt by Catherine in London.
Artwork & Prints
NEW! Hwawon Cho: These are just the sweetest. Hwawon Cho creates unique, eco-friendly greeting cards and paper products, including posters. Every piece begins as an original artwork in Hwawon's signature style with cute heartwarming details and pretty colour combinations. There's just something about them that speaks to my inner child and makes me feel so happy, maybe because her designs almost seem like illustrations from a book. With blocks and layers of colour, her patterns feel inspired by handsewn patchwork quilts that also give them a charming nostalgic quality. They're just lovely and the sort of thing I'd love to send a friend.
She Snacks and Paints: We have been so inspired by this incredible artist and we couldn't be more happy to welcome them back to the market! I adore the imagined world and life she's created, so fully of beauty and wonder. I find her prints with inspirational messages so gorgeous too, exactly the sorts of things I'd like to look at over and over in my home. When I look at Helen's work I always imagine myself as the woman she paints, wearing a colourful silk scarf over her head, shopping for pasta, wearing leopard print ballet pumps with big boquets of flowers in my home!
Abbie Rose: To me, being an accomplished adult means keeping a well stocked card cupboard ready to send a thoughtful message to a loved one at a moment’s notice! I know the market stall of talented illustrator Abbie Rose will be the perfect place for me to stock up, with her fun, colourful and cute cards, prints and stationery (especially because she’s travelling all the way from Cambridgeshire to be with us for the day!) From friendly frogs to cosy cats and gorgeous women in outfits I want, her illustrations have such a heartfelt feel.
Charlie Taylor: Full of bold, vivid colours and beautiful, exotic motifs, the artwork of artist Charlie Taylor is inspired by her worldwide travels. From the architecture of Morrocco to the food of Italy and beyond. Featuring bountiful fruits, delicious cocktails and many pretty patterns. Shop the collection of prints and paper goods at our next market! These went down an absolute storm on TikTok and no doubt she'll have a crowd at her stall!
Homeware & Candles:
NEW! Glass By Red: I'm in awe of maker Rebecca's ability to manupulate glass into the most beautiful, artistic homeware pieces. Just wow. Using traditional techniques, she creates bespoke stained glass suncatchers, wall hangings and more. Her best sellers include her little glass strawberries which are just charming! Hang one in the window of your kitchen or next to your desk and watch the colours play across your wall as the light glows through them, just magical.
NEW! flammes: Inspired by the powerful link between fragrance and emotional wellbeing, flammes seeks to create moments that uplift and revitalise through modern perfumery. Their debut collection, What’s Up Buttercup, features 12 candles. Each one is housed in a beautiful handcrafted porcelain vessel made in the renowned porcelain city Limoges in France, with a design inspired by the zodiac and their correlating birth flowers. So chic, and so giftable! As well as being beautiful, I can’t wait to smell these as each fragrance is formulated in Grasse, France, the perfume capital, so there’s no doubt they will be absolutely divine.
Fantastic Plastic: Without a doubt, the brands I’m most excited to work with are those thinking of clever and creative ways to tackle the problem of plastic waste. Enter Plastic Fantastic Studio. Founder and maker Ife cleverly makes household items from 100% recycled plastic waste, giving a new and exciting lease of life to literal rubbish. What started as a University project became a business in 2021, based in both Nigeria and London. So far Ife has repurposed thousands of plastic bags, turning them in to gorgeous coasters that have a beautiful marbled pattern.
Squares and Things: Technically not new as we worked with London maker Maddy at our first ever pop-up in Selfridges five years ago! But it's been a while, and we really are thrilled to welcome them back as Maddy is really one of the most cutting-edge and creative homeware designers today. With so much thought, research and fun baked in, her creations all aim to infuse your home with joy. At the market she'll be launching her fabulous cork coaster range in a variety of new and sustainable materials including transparent recycled plastic (hello 90s dream!!) and snazzier brightly coloured versions. Plus a new range of candle holders never seen before. Each item is completely made in the UK and the kind of well made item you'll treasure forever.
Rosie Brain: If you’ve looked longingly at Rosie's bestselling embroidered decorations but have yet to treat yourself, then now’s the time. The talented artist will be joining us at our next market with location designs for lots of local areas of London. So if you’re someone who loves to rep where they live, then I highly recommend treating yourself. These are absolutely beautiful, each time consumingly embroidered before Rosie, then cleverly cuts out and sewn together. The stitchwork is phenomenal, Rosie manages to achieve absolute perfection in each one, making them also a special keepsake or gift for a special occasion, birthday or wedding.
Vintage
NEW! Tort & Tiger: Founded in 2021 by Charlotte Cobourn, Tort & Tiger offers a curated collection of preloved, vintage and antique homewares and objects. With an eclectic and trend-led mix of items, it's no surprise they've previously been seen in Tatler Magazines luxury gift guide, at a pop-up in Selfridges! For the carboot obsessed you're also going to love their famous Rootin’ Tootin’ & Carbootin’ caps which have been spotted on some of the coolest heads in interiors and styling, the perfect summer accessory for your preloved shopping escapades!
Fashion
NEW: Harriet Hill: I first saw these on social media and am now beside myself that they will be appearing at the market!! Harriet runs a handmade slow fashion knitwear brand that focuses on the fun and whimsical. With a background in knitwear design, every item is made by Harriet with passion and love that she hopes you feel when you wear her creations. These are sooo inventive and fun, way more interesting than the boring same-old things you’d find on the highstreet. The butter design is my personal fave.
Caroline Dickinson: Caroline Dickinson is a London based textile artist creating wearable and unique pieces of art in the form of hand-printed vintage shirts. Far away from the churn of trends and throwaway culture of the fashion industry, Caroline’s luxurious pieces come from an ethos of slow, mindful design; they are made to be worn, hung, loved and treasured throughout a lifetime featuring her iconic block print shapes. Made from either vintage fabrics or certified natural fibres, they’re also all one-off or ultra limited edition making each one ultra special. She will be bringing with her a mix of hand printed silk, cotton and denim shirts ready for your spring wardrobe.
Deli Items:
NEW! Sea Sisters: As a tinned fish lover, and someone looking to cut out highly processed foods from my diet, I was recommended Sea Sisters by soooo many people before I tried it! People literally fell over themselves to tell me how excellent their canned fish was with someone giving it a 10000/100! I made it my mission to try the range, and am absolutely converted. Sea Sisters are the first manufacturers of canned fish in England since the 1940’s, how cool? They produce a range of tip top quality canned fish and seafood delicacies sourced ethically that support the British fishing industry, with many of them garnering the famous Great Taste Award because they're so delicious. I will be stocking up on market day.
Oat Avenue: The UK’s first granola butter is coming back to the market because it was such a smash hit, and we couldn’t be more excited. Realising that there was a huge gap in the market for nut-free spreads, partners Iva and Thiviyan decided to launch their own brand. Much like nut butter but importantly without the nuts, it’s made with oats instead meaning it’s free from the top 14 allergens, school friendly and high in fibre. I have tried each of their four flavours (and have bought a few myself!) and can confirm they are totally yummy and satisfying, just what you want from this type of product.
Bakery & Sweet treats:
Mr Desserts: We literally have not stopped going on about Moyin’s absolutely delectable cupcakes ever since we first tried them at our market last year. Oh my god, these cupcakes are incredible! As well as charming the whole small biz world because he's the nicest guy ever, Moyin is fanatical about his ingredients and baking process, only using the best of the best to ensure these bakes are 10/10 every single time. Which is absolutely achieves! Believe me you will be disapointed if you miss these, so come early to bag yours.
