Sunday 2nd June: All the brands taking part in our Battersea Power Station market

After a successful event there last year which saw hundreds of you shopping small in luxurious surroundings, we’re thrilled that we’re going to be hosting another market at the South London icon that is Battersea Power Station! We’ll be popping up inside the historic Turbine Halls and bringing with us 30 different small brands each day, giving you a unique and exciting shopping experience spanning everything from handmade jewellery to art and ceramics all under one roof. Here’s every single one of the makers who will be trading there with us on Saturday 1st June. Remember there’s a totally different line-up for Sunday 2nd June which you can find here! Find out more about the event here.

Handbags & Accessories

NEW! Sister Scrunch: Sister-made scrunchies! Why did this just bring a little tear to my eye. Founded by sissies Maddie and Bianca, the duo design and handmake every super cute scrunchie in small batches. Using only the best British linen, Italian cotton and other up-cycled fabrics, each scrunchie has it’s own name and personality inspired by things the pair love, like deep blue seas in Santorini, folk festivals and the amazing Charleston House! The brand new collection launching exclsuively on market day has been inspired by English country gardens and earthy vegetable patches. Think pastel coloured sweet-peas, vibrant tomatoes and fresh new leaves. We can not wait to shop.

NEW! Jess Game Knit: Handmade accessories made especially for you AND your four-legged friends! We are absolutely obsessed with the really original and cute pieces from Jess Game Knit, in particular her little lambswool knitted neck scarves! Just the cutest little thing, easy to keep in your handbag and add to any outfit this Summer, you know when the sun goes down and you’re in the pub garden and it gets a little bit chilly? This would be the antidote. Find the most amazing brightly coloured striped cushions, scrunchies and more at our next market.

NEW! Ariadne: Using exclusively recycled yarn, designer Rosie handmakes these gorgeous handbags in her little home studio! Due to the finite nature of each yarn, every bag is completely one off, so everyone who shops has an original piece that’s as completely unique as they are. You can’t help but have a spring in your step and feel a little bit more special knowing that, every time you wear it! Rosie thinks of her designs as wearable pieces of art, inspired by the world around her and everything that makes her heart sing. Every bag is handmade with love, this is Rosie’s passion project and she’s so excited to share her pieces with us on market day.

Vintage

Edie Collection: At our last market Edie Collection literally had the biggest queue round their market table all day and it’s not hard to see why! Founder Sarah has curated the most special collection of vintage costume jewellery that just is full of the most outrageously gorgeous earrings I’ve ever seen. Think Christmas Barbie of your childhood dreams means classic 90s Chanel worn by Christy Turlington meets elusive TikTok mom who hands down all her iconic vintage pieces to her daughter and you’ve just about captured the spirit of this business. I literally can not wait to see what special things will be available at our market! A real treasure chest of vintage pieces, you’re bound to fall in love with every one.

Sorrell Jewels: It WOULDN’T be a market without our fave Emily who is your ultimate go to gal for vintage rings. A visit to her stall is a deep dive in to a magical treasure chest of solid silver and gold goodies. Her curation is so unique, so special, I genuinely have no idea where she sources her pieces but her selection is UNRIVALLED, at any given moment on market day she’s usually tending to 10 customers all trying on a myriad of different designs. Prices start from just £26 so there really is something for everyone.

Jewellery

NEW! Puzzle Design: If you’ve seen videos of custom charm necklaces all over your For You page but always wondered where you can go to make your own, then you’re going to loveeeee this! We’re so happy to welcome Puzzle Designs to our next market, who can help you do exactly that. Popping up with a special Make Your Own Charm Necklace market stall, you’ll be able to pick and choose exactly what cute charms you want on your necklace, that perfectly represent you. I can see queues forming already… Chains start from £17 and charms from £5.

NEW! Hattsusus Bazaar: Inspired by the history of Anatolia and the iconography and art that has deep rooted meaning to the country of Turkey, designer Zeynep Dogun has launched a debut collection of handmade pieces that revive designs and techniques from Anatolia’s lost cultures. Each modern heirloom is full of special symbolism and I especially love the necklaces that feature vividly colourful beads with gold plated medallions. I’d wear them stacked up all summer long. Every item is handmade by artisans in Turkey and especially for the market new unique pieces and archived pieces will be restocked, alongside brand new phone strap accessories that have never been seen before.

Manom Jewellery: Discovering Manom Jewellery is like getting happily lost in a beautiful, mystical world full of and wonder and charm. Each imaginative piece of jewellery is lovingly handcrafted in London with an incredible amount of detail. Every delicate scene in these miniature delights is handpainted by founder Mayo, telling a magical story inspired by fairytales, characterful animals and everything cosmic. Mayo works exclusively with a Fairmined gold from artisanal and small scale mining communities to ensure an ethical practice and we are absolutely in love with her beautiful work.

Skincare, Beauty & Scent

NEW! Parudeesa: I’m always so blown away and excited by the innovation from some of the amazing businesses we work with, and Parudeesa is a great example! Parudeesa is a range of natural and sustainable bodycare products inspired by the romantic mysticism and lush gardens of ancient Indo-Persia. These products, including a natural deodorant made of pure medical grade silver, come in bamboo boxes that can be reused or recycled. At our market the team will also be bringing a number or limited edition boxes that have been hand painted by a selection of different talented artists. So cool! These products are made in the UK, are vegan and cruelty free.

Ceramics

Superfluities: Adorned with an abundance of gorgeous frills, potter Catherine has a magical knack for making everyday household items feel so exciting and special. From the humble egg cups to statement lamp bases, her lovingly handmade ceramics are finished with the all-important frilly edges that make them so original. Every piece is handbuilt by Catherine in London and you can find brand new vases, triple and quintuple candelabras as well as heart dishes and platters at our market in two new colours. There will be a cheeky sample-sale box too.

Amy Ceramics: Small batch and handmade ceramics with the most adorable handpainted designs I’ve ever seen! Lovely Amy is a full-time nurse who started learning ceramics as a hobby, which since turned in to a successful small business. With a background in fine art, her cute designs are so fun and whimsical, featuring cherries, bows, fruits, animals and more, all colourful and just super sweet. These petite pieces make the perfect trinket dishes OR the perfect vessel for a bits and bobs girl dinner, my favourite. Shop the collection of individual and one-of-a-kind items at our next market.

Artist Olivia Hawe has cleverly designed a range of tickets and vouchers that can be personalised for special occasions, and you’ll be able to get your very own personalised piece at our market! I can’t wait to get one of little Len.

NEW! Jenny Vellacott Art: Artist Jenny Vellacott found a love of painting during lockdown, when she needed to absorb herself in something creative that gave her a sense-of-self, something I think we can all relate to! She found a mini watercolour set and was immediately inspired by the magic of playing with colour and water, finding a freedom in mixing paints together. Now with a successful small business and a range of prints, cards and commissions for personalised wedding stationery, we’re thrilled you’ll be able to shop the nature-inspired collection at our next market.

NEW! Another Loop: Contemporary keepsakes for special occasions. Founders Charlotte and Tom met while studying fine art in London at Central Saint Martins, combining to become a creative design studio who create the most beautiful (and giftable) paper goods, personalised tokens, craft kits and greetings cards. Especially for the market the duo are launching new lucky penny tokens and two new notecard collections, one that’s inspired by spreading good news and the other inspired by retro Americana!

NEW! Vero Illustrates: Colourful, happy and rather whimsical, let us introduce you to the work of artist Veronica, known as Vero Illustrates. These original digital illustrations feature food, plants and travel, with lots of gorgeous European travel destinations like Lisbon and Madrid, the perfect reminder of places visited to hang on your wall when you get home. Veronica’s artworks just feel like Summer to me! Vibrant oranges, lemons, chillis, blue skies and lucious foliage. Shop the collection of prints and greetings cards at our next market.

Line & Honey: Founder and artist Amberlee designs minimal, mindful artworks that celebrate the visibility of black women, shedding light on the softer, more reflective sides of women of colour not often seen. The collection features beautiful illustrations that communicate messages that matter, with wellness, visibility and representation at the heart of all they do. It’s no wonder they’ve been seen in Sheerluxe and Stylist Magazine.

Maddison Ball Creative: The most colourful print shop for your colourful home! If you dream of kitch lobsters with scalloped edges, bows, checkerboard, cowboy hats and more rainbow tones and pattern clashes than you can shake a stick at then I think you’ll be chuffed to discover Maddison. Shop prints from just £8 and cards from £2.80 as well as the new collection of tea towels at our next market.

Hazel Makes Pictures: Hazel Makes Pictures is a talented artist from Edinburgh (I swear all the most incredible and talented artists are from Scotland! We need to do a market there!) who’s now based in South London. Hazel makes screen prints, riso prints, zines and cards in her beautiful whimsical style inspired by historical costume and theatre. There’s something so touching about her depiction of interesting characters, they just seem lovable and kind somehow. Her use of interesting colour combinations is also just gorgeous. Shop her works from £5 at our market.

Dogs

Vackertass: As one of the most iconic dog friendly shopping destinations in London, we knew we needed a brand at our market inside Battersea Power Station dedicated to bringing stylish, well designed accessories for our furry friends! Enter Vackertass Supply co! These contemporary accessories for hounds are made from natural materials, functional but beautifully made so your dog looks as good as you. Every piece is handmade in London by founder Annelie. We got a new lead and harness for Lenny and have had SO many compliments on it, I’d highly recommend!

Deli products

NEW! Seedy Snacks: Two snack loving sisters, Soraya and Natasha, embarked on a journey to create the perfect all-round snack, something that was good for your body, was grain and gluten free but still tasted great. Seedy Snacks are what they developed and I for one am soo excited to try them! With good nutritional value, fibre and vitamin rich ingredients these seed crackers can be used as a bread alternative or a simple snack. Top with spreads, eggs, dip in to hummus, pair with cheese, the limits are endless. A box is £5.25 and there’s no ultra processed ingredients whatsoever, just simple recognisable things that taste great and do your body good.

NEW! Wild Chai: We are thrilled to share that Wild Chai will be joining us at our next makers market inside Battersea Power Station! These are ayurvedic inspired tea blends, created to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul. Inspired by a desire to celebrate their families Indian heritage, sisters Jasmine (a qualified plant-based chef) and Alicia (an Archeology and Geography graduate who’s dissertation was all about Archeology of Ancient Medicine) set about creating their very own chai products, using their own skills, research and learning, these perfectly spiced and lovingly blended recipes have been featured by Vogue and stocked in Selfridges! Shop them at our next market!

NEW! Chapmans of London: Sparkling, fruity and punchy, Chapmans of London is the perfect non-alcoholic alternative this Summer! Founder Tolani developed their celebrated blend inspired by the vibrant flavours and culture of Nigeria, with delicious flavours of blood orange, pomegranate and cucumber. Simply enjoy over ice for a refreshingly and zingy taste that will quench your thirst. Sold in single-portion cans that help prevent waste, and can easily be recycled. Don’t miss them at our next market!

Oat Avenue: As sold in Selfridges and Ocado. The UK’s first granola butter is coming to the market and we couldn’t be more intrigued and excited. Realising that there was a huge gap in the market for nut-free spreads, partners Iva and Thiviyan decided to launch their own brand! Much like nut butter but without the nuts, it’s made with oats instead meaning it’s free from the top 14 allergens, school friendly and high in fibre. Eat it on porridge, on toast or straight out of the jar. Cannot wait to try this ingenious product which comes in four different flavours including chocolate and chai spice.

Bakery

Mr Desserts: We literally HAVE NOT STOPPED GOING ON ABOUT Moyin’s absolutely delectable and delicious cupcakes ever since we first tried them at our market earlier this year. Oh my god, these cupcakes are incredible! I’m not exaggerating when I say I ate 5 of these last market day. 5!!! The Birthday Cake, the Cookies and Cream… I just need you to tell me you’re going to come to the market and try one. Moyin is fanatical about his ingredients and baking process, only using the best of the best to ensure these cupcakes are 10/10 every single time and we can confirm he absolutely achieves this, and this time he’s bringing triple choc chip brownies too! Bakes usually sell out before the end of market day so come early to avoid disappointment! And believe me, you really will be disappointed if you miss them.

Toskas Cakes: Occasion cakes and macarons have never looked so good! One of my absolute favourite things to do on a market day is to buy a slice of freshly baked cake to take home and enjoy with a cup of tea when I get home, and baker Flora will have plenty for us to choose from on market day that look as beautiful as they taste. Pick up a box of handmade macarons as the perfect little token or gift for any loved one, I tried them at our last market and highly recommend!
