Saturday 5th July: All the brands taking part in our market at Gipsy Hill Brewery Taproom

We are so proud to be hosting markets at Gipsy Hill Brewery Taproom through June, July and August this summer. Our market will be the star of the show, where we’ll have 30 different incredible small brands with us each day spanning everything from handmade and preloved fashion to unique vintage jewellery, cute art prints, scrunchies (yes girlies there will be a whole load of scrunchies!!)

The market will be indoor, but on site there is also an indoor bar selling loads of different craft beers and soft drinks, a coffee van, and food trucks meaning you can spend the whole day shopping, eating, drinking and soaking up the sun in the outdoor yard. Pups are very welcome and it’s a lovely summery day out in South London. Plus on this weekend we’ll also have our very own Girlie Beer on tap! The pink raspberry and hibiscus kolsch we brewed in collaboration with Gipsy Hill Brewery. Don’t miss it as it’s super limited edition.

If you’re wondering what brands you can find there trading with us on Saturday 5th July, here’s the full list! Remember we have a totally different line-up of makers for our market on Sunday 6th July.

Live portraits by Eleanor Joanna: We’re so chuffed to welcome back talented London artist Eleanor Joanna to our market. Eleanor will be offering Live Portraits on market day! Sit for the artist while she creates your special and unique piece of artwork in just a few minutes using pro-market pen and pencil in her whimsical, soft and fairytale like style. This is a one of a kind and original piece of artwork completed while you wait, how incredible! Commemorate an anniversary, birthday, new pet or special day out. Portraits are £35.

Handmade and vintage fashion brands

Lydia Bolton: The one and only. Lydia is one of London's true small business trail blazers, spearheading the reworked fashion movement here in the capital! She is known for her sell-out collections of patchwork fashion; as each piece is carefully handmade using preloved fabrics it is also one-of-a-kind making the market an excellent opportunity to see and try on her pieces for yourself.

Pine & Treasure: The beloved Pine & Treasure have been delighting their customers with curated edits of preloved and vintage pieces for the past few years. Now they're returning to the market with a new offering: their chic UK-made co-ord sets. These are so perfect for holiday and I'll be trying one on for my honeymoono this summer! The lace pieces in particular are divine. Katie will be taking custom orders on the day so you can have one made to measure; they offer bespoke leg lengths for the petite and tall girlies.

Vintage Inclined: Fiona has been sourcing vintage since 2012. With a decade of experience, she always sources the best things and styles them so nicely! Especially for this market she'll be curating a collection of vintage jewellery. As true vintage and reworked pieces, they're all one-of-a-kind and with lots of oversized sun, shells and swirls, they're perfect for summer.

Grandpas Shirts: There’s so much heart in everything Gaby makes and that’s why we love her so much. She started Grandpa’s Shirts inspired by her beloved grandad Lesley who was always so snappily dressed. After he passed away suddenly, she found comfort wearing his favourite golf sweaters and shirts and decided to dust off her sewing machine to carefully edit them so they suited her better. Her one-of-a-kind shirts are always a big seller, loved by our customers for their big collars, ric rac trims and pretty colours!

Sister Ellen: These one of a kind upcycled pieces are playful, delightful, inspiring and full of happy JOY that will make you want to wear them all season long. Founder Lydia spent many happy hours with her mum and Nana Mud uncovering treasures at charity shops and markets, and it's this lifelong passion which inspires each of her designs today, which are all handmade by her in England. Gingham, bows, oversized collars and more, we know you're going to fall in love with these pieces just like we have. Her clever wrap tops are my fave; I've had so many compliments on mine.

Scrappin Ell: Exclusively using only existing and vintage materials, fashion designer Ellie cleverly reworks the most charming, romantic and characterful pieces that are nearly always one-of-a-kind! And even better she's a South London babe so everything is made on this side of the river. Featuring the most amazing prints in cute and wearable styles she's always got cute things to buy.

Handbags & accessories brands

NEW! Sunday and Woods Studio: Girlies you're gonna love these! Brand new to the market, Sunday & Woods is all about repurposing unwanted textiles into something new and super cute you'll want to wear again and again. Georgia sources preloved fabrics, think gorgeous checked seersuckers, and transforms them into one-of-a-kind bags. I love the new slouchy bag shape which you can sling over your shoulder all summer long (and is big enough for my big headphones!)

Staise: It wouldn’t be a good market day without the cutest most colourful frilly and chubby scrunchies for you to treat yourself to! So we’re absolutely chuffed and buzzing to welcome Stais back to Salad Days. Entirely handmade by maker Anastasia and her small team, these gorgeous hair accessories are available in a wide selection of colours, trims and patterns, you’ll be sure to find one or two that are perfect for you. She'll also have her brand new product launching at the market, which has been in the works for months! Knickers to match your scrunchies!!!

Rosetta Studio: Every product Rose creates is like the personification of spring! As well as her hand-painted cards which can be personalised on the day, she creates the cuuuutest fabric accessories including sunglasses cases, pouches and more, using the cutest fabrics around. Her special bundle deal means it’s cheaper when you buy three together, and they’re always a top seller. She’ll be bringing her mini makeup bags to Salad Days for the first time, as well as her teeny popper pouches which are perfect for headphones, tampons, everything.

Jewellery brands

NEW! Elsewhere: Caoimhe is an Irish artist who just moved to London so this is an exciting opportunity to shop with her in London for the first time! Everything she makes has an ethereal vibe, like something a fairy made, and I mean that as the highest compliment possible! Some of her most popular pieces are her Claddagh ring (A classic but I love that hers feels magical and has an organic handmade feel unlike any others I've seen) and her amazing scarf slides which are used to tie bandanas around your neck. These are SO chic and as a regular bandana wearer I love this nifty little accessory.

Clari Worldwide: Maker Claire sources vintage pendants and cleverly solders them into new jewellery designs that are sooo special and different. This also means that each piece she makes, whether it’s a pendant or necklace is 1/1. While each piece is totally unique, there's a girly romance that weaves its way through all of her creations, whether it's using pink beads, hearts of vintage cameos. You will die for her new pieces coming to the market which are all rodeo themed.

Frances Kirk: Market favourite, fellow South London gal, all all round talented and beautiful little bean, the one and only Frances Kirk will be at our next market! Handmade by Annie in London, each carefully considered jewel speaks of her life experiences. Excitingly she has started a new technique of casting into water which makes the most incredible shapes, this new water collection will be launching in July so come down to be the first to see it and shop it!

The Hoshen: We first met brand owner Aisha as she's a regular customer at Salad Days! She has incredible personal style; her necklace stack, her nails, her outfits! We spotted her straight away and were then thrilled to find out she's a vintage jewellery seller herself. Curating a selection of the very cutest and finest charms, chains, rings and more I just know that whatever Aisha has at her market stall, I'll want to buy. As well as sourcing true vintage and antique rings, she sometimes edits them, adding stones or transforming things for different uses, to conjur up her own unique creations. I trust her taste implicitly.

Ceramics brands

NEW! Rosie Gore: Rosie is a ceramicist and designer based in London, where she designs and makes all of her gorgeous homewares. Hand built in stoneware clay, creating organically shaped pieces which are then painted and glazed by hand, they are cleverly designed to be both works of art, and functional robust pieces for the home making them an easy purchase and something you don't need to feel guilty for! There's always a reason to buy a platter or bowl especially in summer!

NEW! WEM Ceramics: You are gonna go mad for these! Emily is a local South London girl, who works right around the corner from the Taproom where we'll be trading! She makes hand built ceramics, focusing on dopamine-boosting homeware and little food themed charms. You might have seen these viral babies before as they are big on TikTok - especially her tinned fish oil pourers and olive themed bottle openers. Especially for the market you'll get the chance to shop her croissant and vine tomato butter dishes which she's never sold in real life before!

Amy Ceramics: You might recognise these gorgeous pieces after they went viral on TikTok! Small batch and handmade ceramics with the most adorable handpainted designs I’ve ever seen. Lovely Amy is a full-time nurse who started learning ceramics as a hobby, which since turned in to a successful small business. With a background in fine art, her cute designs are so fun and whimsical, featuring cherries, bows, fruits, animals and more. These petite pieces make the perfect trinket dishes. No wonder she basically sold out at the last market! Come early to get your fave!

Izzy McFarlane Design: We're so excited to welcome ceramicist Izzy to our market who will be travelling from Margate to be with us! Making it the perfect opportunity to shop with her in London. She makes wheel thrown ceramic homeware inspired by mid century design and brutalist architecture in a bright playful colour palette. As well as her best-selling coffee cups (which you might recognise from fav South London spot Paper Stories cafe just down the road from the market!) she has also been working on fruit bowls, butter dishes, matcha sets and candle holders.

Toast Studios: This small batch, independent ceramics studio is run by Evie all the way up in Birmingham! So we couldn’t be more chuffed they’ll be travelling all the way to South London to trade with us. Evie, who a classically trained arts historian, will have her usual line-up of functional and cute pieces with a focus on sustainability, accessibility and self expression; her ceramic Maldon seasalt jars are always a big seller! So cool!

Beauty & fragrance

Palm of Feronia: Bestselling brand Palm Of Feronia returns to our market with selection of thoughtful products, which now spans jewellery, skincare and even teas (I really really love Soph's teas). Whether it's a gorgeous necklace or a skin oil, each product is created and made by Soph right here in South London and is rooted in ancient traditions and herbal lore. We are Soph's number one fans and there's a reason she returns again and again to the market, her new necklaces and Sleep Spray especially have legend status at the market and our customers come back to repeat buy them again and again.

Homeware & candles brands

Tort & Tiger: Founded in 2021 by Charlotte Cobourn, Tort & Tiger offers a curated collection of preloved, vintage and antique homewares and objects. With an eclectic and trend-led mix of items, it's no surprise they've previously been seen in Tatler Magazines luxury gift guide, at a pop-up in Selfridges! For the carboot obsessed you're also going to love their famous Rootin’ Tootin’ & Carbootin’ caps which have been spotted on some of the coolest heads in interiors and styling, the perfect summer accessory for your preloved shopping escapades!

Sara Brown Design: A master with colour and pattern, style icon Sara cleverly translates her iconic and recognisable personal style through each of her products spanning a wide range of products from her iconic wiggle coasters, to original artworks, and napkins. I see Sara as someone who wears many hats; content creator, stylist, fashion designer, product designer, artist! So it’s always an absolute thrill to see what beautiful new things she’ll create next as I trust her taste implicitly.

By Florence: Florence makes colourful glass tiled coasters, trivets, picture frames and mirrors. All items are handmade by Florence in her small studio in London using lots of colour - she believes having a colourful home is very important. Choose from a selection of different colours to create your own perfect set of coasters, or make a custom order, I think the photo frames in particular are so unusual and clever, and bought one which now sits on my desk. It's so chunky and satisfying to look at.

Christie x White: Home to the original Afro candle, these vegan and cruelty free sculptural candles were inspired by founder Jaydene's own personal journey to love her natural Afro hair. Representing a journey of self love and acceptance, this proudly Black owned brand features a selection of candles and other home fragrances that not only smell amazing but are also designed to inspire us to love our natural selves. Shop these alongside prints and artworks with inspiring and beautiful messages.

Prints, cards & stationery

Sally Meier: Whenever we work with talented South London illustrator Sally Meier I can’t resist stocking up on her beautiful cards and paper goods! With a background in interior and prop styling, she is a master at creating and depicting dreamy interiors in her prints. Excitingly for the market she'll have new original paintings that are on colourful mounts, some are already printed and ready to hang in your home!

Lydia Southgate: Junk journal girlies, this one is for you!! The lovely Lydia runs an illustrated paper goods and stationery brand, with a big focus on journalling supplies including cute papers, sticker sheets, washi tape and more. She designs everything with her younger self in mind, creating things that she knows her ten year old self would have loved and I think that's why her products speak to my inner heart so deeply! Exclusively for the market she'll have new stickers, some of which may just be Salad Days themed... and her brand new caps! We will be first in the queue!

Chin Chin Prints: Salad Days Market is all about celebrating the very best South London has to offer, which is why we absolutely love to work with our talented South London neighbour Chin Chin Prints. Illustrator and graphic designer Emily spent many years designing for globally renowned brands, before turning her talent into a full time biz. Her iconic prints feature some of our most beloved local locations, and we need them all! Shop the collection including my favourite, the super chic vinyl stickers!
