After a successful event there last year which saw hundreds of you shopping small in luxurious surroundings, we’re thrilled that we’re going to be hosting another market at the iconic Hoxton Hotel in Southwark. These unique items are so special, and we’re thrilled to bring them to our next market.

NEW! Pip Schulp: Having always had an interest in the construction of clothes, designer Pippa was inspired to study for a degree in Costume at uni. During this time, her designs became more contemporary and less historical, and she started making classically inspired things from linen. For the market Pippa is bringing her gorgeous 2 piece pyjamas that are made from natural fabrics in fun and bright patterns and colours, and you’ll even be able to have them personalised with a hand embroidered icon, initials or name on the day! Prices start from just £55, and everything is one of a kind and handmade.

Aff & Jam: One part African (Aff) and one part Jamaican (Jam) founders Kelesi and Jaymie's roots not only formed the name of their label, but are a profound part of their personal and brand identity too, and something they continue to explore throughout their work. Creating wearable art by hand-painting vintage and recycled items with their signature line drawings, I love that everything this dynamic duo creates is totally one of a kind. You'll have to come and browse the selection on market day to see exactly what they've got available! Without fail, Dais and I ALWAYS find something we want to buy.

Worn To Threads: Worn To Threads has become well known for the absolutely beautiful patterned vintage fabrics founder and maker Izzy crafts her upcycled pieces from. The most stunning little waistcoat made from 1986 Morris & Co fabric that used to be a pair of curtains, a wool coat expertly reworked from an artistically patterned blanket, a padded jacket cut from a patchwork quilt with the most exceptionally clever pattern placement I’ve ever seen! Every single one is a feast for the eyes, a celebration of the most special textiles and craftsmanship, and of course totally one-of-a-kind. These are the sort of things that make me feel so excited about the future of fashion. Sustainable and original. Unbeatable. Find them at our next market.

This one-woman business does it all herself, and even uses her scraps to create cardholders from too. Exclusively for the market, Scarlett is launching a BRAND NEW design which we absolutely can’t wait to see! It will undoubtedly become a cult classic just like her other pieces.

Jewellery

NEW! Studio Bowe: Working with jewellery brand Studio Bowe at our next market is a real full circle moment for us! We first met and worked with founder Bertie nearly 5 years ago in lockdown, when everything was online and we hosted our markets via Instagram. I can’t believe so much time has passed! Bertie has been busy sourcing the most beautiful beads in Morocco to make brand new jewellery pieces especially for our next market where you’ll be able to shop the full collection of joyful pieces. Everything Bertie makes uses vintage and preloved beads, becoming modern and colourful statement jewellery that’s often one of a kind.

NEW! A Typical Thing: Growing up in Birmingham, Josefina was inspired by the rich legacy of the historic Jewellery Quarter’s craftsmanship and the artistry that defines this renowned area. This deep connection to her hometown fuels her dedication to blending traditional techniques with modern, minimalist design. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and handcrafted, ensuring that it’s not just a fashion statement but a meaningful and responsible choice. I just love the artistry in everythign she makes and know you will too.

NEW! Nelle Studios: Since we know you guys absolutely love charm necklaces, we are so happy to welcome Nelle Studios to our lineup for the very first time. Maker Grace will have a selection of beautiful, ready made charm necklaces to choose from, featuring a selection of charms that are both handmade, sourced and vintage. Inspired by a love of trinkets, homeware and nostaligic treasures, I'm sure these kitch cuties are going to be so popular.

NEW! Moor Wyld: Jeweller Matilda describes her jewellery as funky designs for the funky people out there, and I love that! Let’s bring back a bit of that early 2000s funkiness, I think we’d all be better off for it. This bohemian inspired jewellery is made from recycled metals, mining free gems and stunning pieces of sea glass. I can see a real connection with nature in Matilda’s work, featuring celestial symbols, flower motifs and organic wobbly settings. Especially for the market Matilda is offering some personalisation, she can stamp an initial on to a charm for you to make it all the more special for you.

Sharlala: Talented jeweller Sharla has become one of our customers favourite brands to shop with, returning to Salad Days time and time again with the most special and beautiful treasures. Having been in the industry for over 15 years it’s no wonder Sharla has a loyal fanbase, of which we include ourselves! Shop brand new pieces and one of a kind pieces at our next market.

Skincare, Beauty & Fragrance

Urania: I love these fragrances so much, I even bought one to wear on my wedding day! London-based high perfumery Urania crafts long-lasting, unique, and empowering fragrances that explore themes of identity and self-expression. Made with selected aphrodisiac oils and precious materials, each scent is hand-blended and poured in London. Come and experience them for yourself at our next market. As seen in Liberty London and Earl of East.

Ceramics

NEW! Romy Jean Ceramics: Romy creates handmade ceramic jewellery and homeware accessories. Her work centres around the joy of colour! Expressing herself through vivid checkerboard, floral and colourful patterns that make each piece so special. Everything is made from scratch from clay, then painted by hand and fired in the kiln. Especially for the market find a new selection of ceramic charms, new earring designs and even ceramic hairclips which sound so exciting! Plus our favourite - her iconic plant tags for the garden that are ideal for the spring season.

Homeware, Prints & Candles

NEW! She Snacks and Paints: We have been so inspired by this incredible artist and we couldn't be more happy to welcome them to the market for the first time! When I look at Helen's work I always imagine myself as the woman she paints, wearing a colourful silk scarf over her head, shopping for pasta, wearing leopard print ballet pumps with big boquets of flowers in my home! I adore the imagined world and life she's created, so fully of beauty and wonder. I find her prints with inspirational messages so gorgeous too.

NEW! Nia Benyon: We're chuffed to welcome Welsh artist Nia to our market for the very first time. Nia creates abstract sketchy line drawings that are inspired by food and a love of cooking and eating. Her work uses hints of bold colours and reminds us all of the happiness in food. How a delcicious bowl of pasta or round of cocktails can bring us all together to create connection and memories. Nia's drawings are a love letter to her recovery through an eating disorder and to everyone who supported her on the journey, turning something painful in to something full of joy!

NEW! By Florence: Something really different for the market! Welcome Florence, who makes colourful glass tiled coasters, trivets, picture frames and mirrors. All items are handmade by Florence in her small studio in London using LOTS of colour - she believes having a colourful home is very important. Choose from a selection of different colours to create your own perfect set of coasters, or make a custom order, I think the photo frames in particular are so unusual and clever, I want one. There will also be a new and exclusive Salad Days design available especially for the day which we're so excited about.

Christie x White: Home to the original Afro candle, these vegan and cruelty free sculptural candles were inspired by founder Jaydene's own personal journey to love her natural Afro hair. Representing a journey of self love and acceptance, this proudly Black owned brand features a selection of candles and other home fragrances that not only smell amazing but are also designed to inspire us to love our natural selves. Shop these alongside prints and artworks with inspiring and beautiful messages.
