Sunday 17th December: All the brands taking part in our Beckenham Christmas Market

We’re so proud and excited to be working with the one and only Liv Purvis on a two-day pop-up Christmas Market at the gorgeous Beckenham Place Mansion this December. As always at the event you can expect to find a line-up of 60 incredible small brands (30 different brands on each day, so you could even come twice if you wanted to!) Fashion

NEW! Smithereens: BRAND NEW TO THE MARKET! We are so proud to bring you slow, sustainably made knitwear from @smithereens.knitwear that’s designed and created by Sanjana in her home studio. Made from deadstock and secondhand fibres, each piece is completely one-of-a-kind.

NEW! TB Nine Tees: BRAND NEW TO THE MARKET! One for the boys! @tbninetees founder Tim curates the BEST vintage clothing. Think great quality pieces from the 80s and 90s like baggy logo sweatshirts, plus unique Italian vintage, specialist football shirts and Y2K fits too. Sustainable, original and just really bloody cool.

Liv Purvis: The one and only Liv has been busy sourcing the most special vintage fashion treasures to bring an ultra curated edit of pre-loved pieces for you to shop at the market! She’ll be trading on both days.

Farewell Foolish Objects: Talented designer Desiree @farewellfoolishobjects slow-makes every piece in the collection herself in London. Cleverly reworking domestic textiles like quilts into one-of-a-kind fashion, underpinned by the utilitarian goals of traditional workwear that inspire her.

Jewellery

Manom Jewellery: This South London jeweller is a master at creating the most mind-blowingly intricate pieces that are steeped in magical fairytale references. Tiny opening doors, minuscule moons, romantic pearls, and incy-wincy painted scenescapes.

Good Daze: London-based maker Rosie’s beautiful designs feel fun and lighthearted, each has deep and important meanings too. From symbols of love, humour, positivity and friendship, she has thoughtfully designed each to remind the wearer to appreciate the important things in life!

Saltwater Designs: Joining us all the way from Ireland, Megan takes inspiration from the landscape, colours and light of the Wild Atlantic coast to create each gorgeous and textural piece of jewellery. Using a combination of vintage beads, sea glass and freshwater pearls, they channel a beautiful, mystical mermaid energy.

Ella Stern: We are lucky to be one of the only markets celebrated London jeweller Ella takes part in, so if you’ve dreamt of trying on her magnificent handmade jewels come and visit our final market of the year! Ella’s iconic style features plenty of rainbow coloured gemstones alongside beautiful organic shapes and textures. As seen in Vogue and Sunday Times Style.

Sorrell Jewels: Without a doubt Emily is the best when it comes to curating the most incredible vintage rings to suit all tastes, styles and budgets; every time she takes part in the market her stall is surrounded with rows of excited customers vying frantically to take home the ones they want!

NEW! Boidae Studio: BRAND NEW TO THE MARKET! Boidae is a world of gorgy bags, each handmade by founder Anna in London. The iconic Hex is such an original design, named for its geometrical 6 sided shape which Anna cuts and sews from lots of different fabrics, our absolute favourite being the timeless and colourful bandana scarves we all know and love!

Rosie Brain Embroidery: Lovely Rosie makes her gorgeous free-motion embroidery patches to fulfil all your mending and customising needs. They’re handmade from 100% felt wool in small batches Rosie’s little studio and available in a selection of designs.

From handmade Christmas wreaths, stunning bouquets and other botanical blooms, London based florist and gardener Demi has a wonderful way of working with colour and shape to create really beautiful bunches of flowers that feel a little bit daring and full of personality.

Maison Spoon: The perfect wedding, new baby or home gift, we’re so pleased to welcome Lucie and her lovely vintage preloved cutlery back to our market, where you can enjoy complimentary personalised engraving on any piece you buy! Spoons start from just £20.

The Way to You: One of the most novel concepts we've ever seen. Pick 'n' mix your perfect bunch of handmade crochet flowers at our next market! You could gift a "bouquet" as an everlasting memento.

Anntiques: Textile Design graduate and fashion buyer Annie has always loved vintage, so with more time on her hands during lockdown she decided to set up her own small biz! With an eye for the most vibrant mid century, art deco and retro, as well as a good helping of kitsch pieces, pick up unique one-of-a-kind treasures for your home.

Ceramics

NEW! KS Creative Pottery: BRAND NEW TO THE MARKET! Stocked in Liberty and Harvey Nichols, it’s an absolute delight to welcome this iconic brand to our market! Known for her playful Isolation Face plates that Liberty described as ‘a cult tableware item’, each piece is perfectly imperfect and handmade by prop stylist, set designer and potter Kate in Kent.

NEW! Rose Nisbet: BRAND NEW TO THE MARKET! Making ceramics through a slab building technique allows artist Rose to create unusual organic shapes with clay. Decorated in a special way using liquid clay mixed with ceramic colour stain that leaves strong and bold colours, each piece is then fired in a transparent glossy glaze for a brilliant shine and finished with gold lustre. Whimsical, playful and full of personality.

Studio Peg: With a background in costume design, ceramicist Lizzie has a decorative approach to shape and form when making, evident in the pretty frilly edges you can see on some of her plates and the beautifully artistic decoration she finishes them with too.

Ellamae Statham: We don’t call South London artist Ellamae artist to the stars for nothing! Having worked on creative projects for Portia Freeman, Daisy Lowe and Sophie Ellis Bexter, we’re proud to present our favey illustrator’s magical work at our next market! She’ll have her new framed pieces to stickers, cards and prints with are all filled with glitter and good vibes.

Illustrated by Weezy: Looking for new cute artwork for your home? We got it! Louise is a v talented illustrator based in South London who creates bold, colourful and customisable wall art that brings happiness and joy into every home. Glasto, Barbie, discos, beers, holidays, your fave song lyrics and cities; they're all here immortalised in Louise's relatable prints.

Kids

NEW! Yours June: BRAND NEW TO THE MARKET! Founder and print-designer Ann-Kathrin creates unique quilts using her very own in-house signature printed fabric. Finding she had extra time during lockdown for more time-consuming crafts, Ann-Kathrin began making quilts for her own children which led to her starting this gorgeous business. These would be a beautiful gift for any baby or child this Christmas.

NEW! Days of Dwam: BRAND NEW TO THE MARKET! These super cool unisex kids clothes are cleverly made from pre-loved garments. Ex-fashion buyer Katy sources each secondhand piece before it’s transformed into something new by a small team of women in London. Made for ages 6 months - 6 years.

NEW! Fruu Cosmetics: BRAND NEW TO THE MARKET! This is a multi-award winning brand creates vegan, sustainable and PETA-certified cosmetics, home fragrances and bath products from wonky fruits! Every product is handcrafted in London by the small team, with a wide range of really giftable items from lip balms to shampoo bars.

Dibia: Your dry winter skin will love these deeply nourishing whipped body butters, which are handmade in small batches in London by founder Ike. Vegan, cruelty free and proudly Black owned, the formulation is made entirely from rich organic butters and oils that leave your skin feeling pampered.

Laylo: Boxed wine has had a glow up! Once destined to be secretly confined to a kitchen cupboard, Laylo offers premium wine in the most stylish packaging you’ll proud to showcase in your home.

Bunhead Bakes: It wouldn’t be our final market of 2024 without the one and only South London extraordinaire Sara. This hardworking gorgeous woman develops and hand makes every single one of her delicious bakes down the road in Gipsy Hill, so everything is incredibly fresh and delish. Try one of her iconic bestselling sourdough buns or her incredible focaccia, and buy two of everything as you’ll want multiples!

Gabu Chocolates: We know delicious treats are an integral part of your Christmas and so you’re going to love this South London-based chocolatier. With an unwavering commitment to quality, founder and chocolatier Lisette recognised that the current supply chain in chocolate is controversial and sometimes unethical and so meticulously sources her ingredients to make sure they’re Fair Trade and empower producers.

Anaya Basque Cheesecake: The reputation of this cheesecake has spread FAR AND WIDE in our South London community!!! And let me tell you, THIS CHEESECAKE IS WORTH THE HYPE. Perfectly caramelised, fluffy, light, sweet but not too sweet, this is the stuff of dreams!!
