We’ve put together the full list here, so you can see exactly who you’ll be able to shop with on the day. As you’ll see from the list below, we have 20 incredible brands there with a focus on handmade products, as always. We’ll be covering lots of different product areas from original art to handmade jewellery. And remember, there’s different brands on each day of the market. Find the full list of 20 different brands trading with us on Sunday 21st April on a separate blog post here.

Jewellery

NEW! Behold Relics: Gorgeous little treasures like this are exactly the sort of thing I loveeee to browse and discover on our market days. We’re so chuffed to be working with Lucy for the first time. This conteporary folk jewellery is all handcrafted by Lucy inspired by folklore, mythology and the beauty of the natural world. These gorgeous pieces feel like little talismans, reminders of life’s stories and adventures. Designs are predominantly made using the lost-wax method which has been used for centuries, with each piece being hand sculpted and carved in jewellers wax and cast in solid metal.

Sharlala Jewellery: You probably know and love Sharla by now, she’s one of our best-selling jewellery brands of all time. A master jeweller, she crafts her stunning, wobbly and rainbow coloured jewels from start to finish herself, including setting each beautiful gemstone! It’s super rare for a jeweller to complete every stage themselves which is why we love supporting Sharla in her craft; she’s a real treasure. Come and try on her sparkly new rings and necklaces, I challenge you not to take one home!

Ella Stern: Vogue-featured jeweller! We are incredibly lucky to be the only market celebrated London jeweller Ella takes part in, so if you’ve ever dreamt of trying on or buying one of her magnificent handmade jewels come and visit our next market! Ella’s iconic style features plenty of rainbow coloured gemstones alongside beautiful organic shapes and textures. We often think of Ella as the unofficial jeweller of the market because we see so many customers wearing them, having purchased them to mark a special occasion like a milestone birthday or graduation. I bought Liv a pair of her hoops for her 30th birthday and she absolutely treasures them.

Roslyn Studio: When I first saw Ros’s jewellery I made the lazy presumption that these rings were plastic. Their lustre and shape just seemed too good to be true! But actually, these beautiful little colourful sweeties are all handmade from glass! The incredibly talented Roslyn uses the technique of lamp-working, where she carefully heats and manipulates long glass rods around super high intensity flames, adding colour until she achieves the spectacular shape and design she’s after. Shop the super cool collection of exciting jewellery pieces at our next market!

Zephyr Jewellery: Seeing a maker celebrate traditional crafts in contemporary ways is one of the most exciting parts of running Salad Days Market and the thing we love the most. So when we discovered Zephyr Jewellery we knew they’d be a perfect fit for the market! This is seaglass jewellery but unlike you’ve seen before, because talented craftsperson Natalie designs beautiful pieces that have a gorgeously modern twist. Using chunkier large-link chains, oversized hoops and other cute charms alongside delicate pieces of sea glass Natalie hand-picks from beaches across the country. I can’t wait for you to see them for yourself.

Vintage

NEW! Cherubs Etc: It’s no over-exaggeration to say that I have been dreaming and manifesting the opportunity to work with the wonderful Becky ever since I first discovered them on Instagram years ago. The wonderful Becky sources the most amazingly unique and fun vintage homeware, each listing more special and thrilling than the last. Those tulip shaped wine glasses! For me, there’s nothing better to shop for than vintage at our market, when you have absolutely no idea what a seller will be bringing and displaying for you. Each piece one-of-a-kind and often exceptional quality, more colourful, interesting and full of character than items you’d buy in shops today.

Homeware & Candles

NEW! Toast Studios: If country music and cowgirl boots have got you enthralled and excited recently then we’re absolutely thrilled to introduce you to Toast Studios! This small batch, independent ceramics studio is run by Evie all the way up in Birmingham! So we couldn’t be more chuffed they’ll be travelling all the way to South London to trade with us. Evie who a classically trained arts historian, creates functional pieces with a focus on sustainability, accessibility, self expression and queerness. I predict the cowgirl boot match strikers are going to be a bestseller!

Dutu Go: Maker Duygu is a master craftswoman, using the clever technique of punch needle embroidery to create the cutest (and neatest - can you believe these are handmade?) homeware and accessories in the sweetest array of designs and shapes. The lil flower is her signature! The magical method of punch needle embroidery dates back thousands of years! So we are especially pleased to welcome Duygu back to the market who is using this traditional technique in new and exciting ways; using it to elevate everything from tote bags to coasters.

Dolly Rocket London: Content creator Sara Brown will be bringing her much-loved homeware and fashion brand to our next market inside Dulwich Picture Gallery, and we are soooo excited! A master with colour and pattern, Sara cleverly translates her iconic and recognisable personal style through each of her products, including her best-selling wiggly coasters as seen in House & Garden. I see Sara as someone who wears many hats; content creator, stylist, fashion designer, product designer, artist! So it’s always an absolute thrill to see what beautiful new things she’ll create next.

Ceramics

NEW! Shiny Happy Pottery: After taking a taster class in pottery three years ago, Emily instantly became hooked! And now spends her days in her little shed at the bottom of her garden in Bristol producing the sweetest ceramics we’ve ever seen. Using the traditional pinchpotting technique she cleverly makes items that are gorgeous to look at with a charming organic quality, feel incredible to hold, and can be used every day to bring a little extra joy into your routine. Our faves are her mugs which she labours over with a fine paintbrush to achieve the loveliest patterns and designs! The tiny tulips! My heart!

Helen Blair Ceramics: If you’re looking to purchase original handmade ceramics, may I suggest browsing the work of Helen at our next market! As well as the perfect shapes she’s magically able to achieve on the wheel, what we admire most about her one-of-a-kind ceramics are the gorgeous colour combinations she uses. From rosy blush pink to mossy green and deep navy, her glazes are really very chic and all work together perfectly so you can pick-and-mix them together. These are the kind of mugs, bowls and dishes you’d be proud to display in your home, and use for a beautiful tablescape.

Elektra Kamoutsis: These gorgeous ceramics from London-based Elektra are more like works of art than functional homewares! Handmade using an entirely (and rather chic) monochromatic colour palette with a focus on graphic shapes and repeat patterns, we love that you can build up your collection of Elektra’s work piece by piece and still create a collection with so much synergy. Find chunky and wobbly pots, vessels, plates and more all in her signature style. These really pack a punch and are really unisex too (you always tell us you’re having trouble finding gifts for guys!)

Laura Bird: London-based Laura cleverly infuses her handmade ceramics and illustrations together, creating really fun and usable pieces that are like miniature works of art in their own right. With really unique shapes and designs it’s like they’ve just jumped into 3D off the page of a sketchbook! To be displayed, used, or even better, both. Her colours, shapes and patterns are an absolute riot of joy.

Art, Prints & Paper Goods

NEW! Rosetta Studios: Rose’s paintings are like the painted personification of spring! Her whole ethos is about spreading joy through floral masterpieces and my heart really feels that through her vibrant, heartfelt and busting-with-life cards! We also love that each one of Rose’s individual card is handmade and completely one of a kind, which is almost unheard of in the industry. Why not send one of these special handpainted keepsake cards to someone you love, just to tell them they’re great.

Sophie Potter Co: After a long old winter, looking at wonderful work of Welsh artist Sophie just made me feel full of the joys and happiness of spring! Inspired by the beauty of the rich luscious nature of her hometown, and various travels abroad, artist and illustrator Sophie works predominantly in gouache, acrylics and oil pastels, mediums which can convey the bold and sumptuous colours that are well known signature of her work. With original artworks, fine art prints as well as cards stickers and even tote bags I know you’ll find something you love at our next market!

Mahin Hussain: If you love pink as much as we do, I’ve got a feeling you’re going to be drawn to Mahin’s stall! Hailing from the bright and colourful land of Pakistan, the now London-based Mahin Hussain is a print designer and visual artist. Her hand-painted collection of work is inspired by her childhood memories and the iconic cultural imagery of the sub-continent. Divine!

Sarah Goodwin: Sarah is an incredibly talented artist from South London who has the most magical way of working with colour, we’re so lucky she’s returning to the market! Not just your average prints; her giclée art prints are printed on the finest paper from a 300 year old mill in the English countryside, supporting this age old craft in the UK. Her scallop edge mounts are always a best seller and are an instant way to elevate your favourite family photos.

Libs Cards: If 2024 is your year to get your card cupboard organised then can I suggest Lib’s Cards as the perfect stall to stock up from. Each cute and sustainably made design was originally handpainted in watercolour by Libby in London, meaning you won’t find them anywhere else! Featuring the most adorable array of friendly characters, words and illustrations, her cards have such a tender and heartfelt feeling. I just know your friends and family would be so happy to receive one in the post.

Hollie Startup: Quite simply: drawings with feelings. London-based Hollie’s charming prints and cards perfectly capture the best parts of life and somehow get to the heart of what it means to be a certain type of girlie in this crazy old world we live in. Combining together the cutest phrases that really resonate (and you really want to see on your walls every single day) with the loveliest heartfelt illustrations, they speak to a place deep in my soul. Her “I think I like this little life” depiction complete with a fancy baguette and a pretty shell (it’s such girl behaviour to get excited about bread and shells and we absolutely love it) went viral, is it too much to say it’s the print of our generation?
