Sunday 8th June: All the brands taking part in our market at Gipsy Hill Brewery Taproom
We absolutely love Gipsy Hill Brewery Taproom, and are so proud to be hosting a market there every month over summer! Our first pop-up there in over Saturday 7th June and Sunday 8th June. Our market will be the star of the show, where we’ll have 30 different incredible small brands with us each day spanning everything from handmade and preloved fashion to unique vintage jewellery, cute art prints, scrunchies (yes girlies there will be a whole load of scrunchies!!) The market will be indoor, but on site there is also an indoor bar selling loads of different craft beers and softies, a coffee van, and food trucks meaning you can spend the whole day shopping, eating, drinking and soaking up the sun in the outdoor yard. Pups are very welcome and it’s a lovely summery day out in South London. Here are the amazing small brands who will be trading with us on Sunday 8th June. Don’t forget we’ll have a totally different line-up on Saturday 7th June, find a list of traders for that date here.

The perfect opportunity to shop Jemelia's curation of fashion, jewels, homewares and accessories, all original vintage pieces from 60s - 00s. As well as cherrypicking true vintage, she also edits some of the pieces herself to make them even lovelier, including adding hand embroidery to some pieces and reworking vintage jewels. All true one-of-a-kind treasures you won't find anywhere else.
Miller & Moore: DAISY WILL HAVE SALAD DAYS MERCH WITH HER AT THE MARKET! That's right, Daisy is the clever creator and maker of our first ever market merch; gorgeous cotton caps with our iconic swirl logo embroidered on front. And they'll be available to buy at our market, she may even have a new colour to wow you with too! Plus a rail of gorgey preloved women's fashion; when it comes to curating preloved and vintage I think Daisy just has the best eye. I've bought so many pieces from her because she always sources just what I'm looking for. Take this opportunity to see, touch and try on the pieces in real life.
Handbags & Accessories
NEW! BijouCREATES: We are so excited to be working with BijouCREATES, an exciting new Black-owned accessories and lifestyle brand based right here in London. Inspired by the boldness of architecture and the vibrancy of West African fashion these special pieces champion colour, texture and storytelling and are so much more special than things you'd find on the highstreet! Founded by a trained architect Bijou, the brand fuses structural design with rich cultural heritage to create playful, statement-making accessories. I'm obsessed with their clever fold-out fans which are the perfect accessory for hot summer occasions!
Staise: It wouldn’t be a good market day without the cutest most colourful frilly and chubby scrunchies for you to treat yourself to! So we’re absolutely chuffed and buzzing to welcome Staise back to Salad Days. Handmade by founder Anastasia's small team, these gorgeous hair accessories are available in a wide selection of colours, trims and patterns you’ll be sure to find one or two that are perfect for you. Honestly thrilled to let you know Staise has taken it to the next level by creating new frilly knickers to match your scrunchies too - literally a girly dream come true.
Emily Davies: A much-loved market favourite, ultimate cool girl Em is coming back to trade with us and bringing with her her brand new things. Let me hold my breath and speak quickly while I say she'll have: new bags in pretty summery fabrics (including her best selling preloved seersucker fabrics, plus souvenir tablecloths and tea towels that are just so adorable) with even more add ons and extras like detachable straps and mini bags you can clip on! These are so girly and adorable I literally can't wait to see Em's new pieces.
Jewellery
NEW! Rare Bear: "Raw earthy relics" is how maker Elle describes her jewels, and that's exactly how we see them too! Using the age old technique of lost wax carving, her unique jewels are first carefully carved in wax then cast in flame by her own two hands, providing you unique jewellery with a beautifully organic handmade feel you just don't get from something created by a machine. Favouring ancient symbols like sunbursts, woven textures and with a perfectly imperfect finish, each jewel looks like it could be an ancient treasure.
NEW! Funny Style UK: The kind of cute jewellery I want to layer up over all my favourite summer dresses. Maker Olga has been creating jewellery since 2021 using fresh water pearls, ceramic beads and repurposed material from vintage items to create gorgeous unique pieces that are so wearable and add a little extra spice to an outfit. She uses the Japanese nylon thread technique for most pieces. I feel like Ogla has such an eye for putting things together in a trend-lead way with beads and colours and shapes that look so cool! You girlies will love 'em.
NEW! Sardine Stan: You guys are such magpies, we're always thrilled to have a new jeweller to introduce you to and I just know you'll be flocking to this new stall on market day! Maker Ines creates ancient-inspired pieces with a sharp modern flare. In that way I find Ines' jewels timeless in the true sense of the word, in that their shapes and details feel equally like something dug up from the past but ultra modern and cool too. Walking the line of new and old that I find so pleasing! Using a mixture of silver-smithing, casting and reclaiming techniques right here in South East London, her designs are unique and timeless. We're proud to have them at the market for the first time ever.
Saltwater Design: Joining us all the way from France, Megan takes inspiration from the landscape, colours and light of the Wild Atlantic coast to create each gorgeous and textural piece of jewellery. Using a combo of vintage beads, shells, and freshwater pearls, they channel serious mermaid energy. Her cutesy pearl bow earrings are always a best-seller, and are as seen on the one and only Zendaya! Come get your own pair at the market.
Kalei: The most important thing to tell you about all of the gorgy earrings from Kalei is that they’re incredibly lightweight and won’t hurt your ears! You get all the eyecatching delivery without any of the pain or discomfort! Choose from hundreds of different shapes, patterns, colours and styles all handmade by lovely Sara. Her striped colourways are my personal fave as they have that cool Copenhagen vibe I love. As Sara says "Life is too short for boring jewellery!" She'll have her new summer range launching at the market: think polka dots, Mediterranean blues, and never-before-seen zero waste designs!
Ceramics
NEW! Hannah Stacey Ceramics: We first worked Hannah so many years ago that I'm gonna list her as "new" here! Honestly buzzing to have Hannah back with us, who's large wavy bowls set so many hearts alight back in the day that literally all of my friends own one! Her handmade ceramics are all created in London with clean lines and a neutral colour palette; the sort of plates and bowls that will make you feel you're dishing up a Michelin starred meal in your own kitchen.
Ceramics by Sunny: My heart is alight with Sunny’s gorgeous handmade ceramics, which perfectly combine marbled clay (in all the loveliest neutral shades of brown and cream, my favourite) and pretty frills. She cleverly creates each unique piece by hand on the wheel, producing functional ceramics that elevate your day-to-day rituals; her most popular designs are her spiral cups which I can see so many uses for in your home.
Hair, Beauty, Fragrance
Afroani: Afroani was created by full time mum and natural hair content creator Anita, who didn’t always have love for her own natural hair growing up in Italy, where she felt her curls made her different. Once becoming part of the natural hair community online she realised how many women just like her were in search for the perfect clean hair care products and accessories, that not only suited their curls but really celebrated them! Find the collection of hair care, and gorgeous combs, pins, claw clips, bonnets and other silk items that are designed to suit natural hair at our next market for the first time.
My Skin Feels: Life is all about feeling good in your skin and Danielle is here to help you do that. Over 99% natural, vegan and made with organic ingredients leftover from the food and drinks industry, Danielle’s hardworking skincare products not only help keep your skin healthy but are good for the planet. The Healthy Hydrating Moisturiser is made from rich organic shea butter and organic rosehip, while the antioxidant-rich Fruity Foaming Face Wash gently washes away dirt, pollution and makeup to leave your skin feeling clean but never dry.
Homeware & Candles
Tabula Vintage: Rebecca's highly curated edits of vintage homeware are fabulously kitsch, bringing the best of the past into your home today. She’ll have all the special treasures you need to dress up every room, from gorgeous glassware, tableware, decorative pieces and more. I always find her curation exceptional because Rebecca cherry picks each individual piece; there's no filler here.
NEW! Present Your Joy: Alisha is the gorgeous woman behind Present Your Joy; your new favourite home fragrance brand! She makes divine soy wax vegan-friendly candles, diffusers and gift boxes with the utmost love and care. Personally I am a huge fan of a diffuser because I love how they throw scent around your home so you get that lovely welcome whenever you walk through the door, and I can’t wait to smell so many of Alisha’s scents: the velvet peony and oud sounds right up my street for my bedroom, and I think the black plum and rhubarb would be just right for my kitchen.
Twizzell: Featured by House & Garden, Tatler and Vanity Fair, Twizzell source unique and colourful lifestyle products from around the world, a one stop shop to get everything you need to create beautiful summer tablescapes! Think brand new Indian block print tablecloths and napkins in beautiful patterns and hues, placemats, teatowels and more alongside other cute accessories like makeup bags and totes which were a sell out at our last market!
Prints, Paper Goods and Cards
Charlotte Godfrey: Charlotte's illustrations are all about celebrating the joy and connection that food and drink bring into our lives. With a love for bold, vibrant colours, she embraces the idea that you eat with your eyes creating designs that are as visually appetising as they are inspiring. She's most drawn to illustrating fresh produce, capturing the warmth of homegrown ingredients in each piece in a gorgey array of products including art prints, tea towels, recipe journals and notebooks.
The Stationer: After a life-long obsession with stationery, in 2014 Tessa started a blog about it. Assuming she was writing into the ether, she was surprised to find a massive community around the world with the same obsession! The obvious next step was to open her very own online shop selling the world's best stationery, tried and tested by the Queen herself. And hold the PHONES because exclusively for this market she's focusing her product curation on girly journaling essentials including loads and loads and loads of stickers. I'm personally blown away by Tessa's sticker selection, she has tonnes I've not found anywhere else and so you can only imagine my excitement!
Lib's Cards: With Father's Day coming up, we are so thrilled that market regular Lib has created her first ever Father's Day range! Her designs are heartfelt and sentimental and so we think perfect for this kind of special day. Using pretty pastel colours and the cutest little characters, Lib's charming card designs are the kind I want to send to every member of my family and all my favourite friends! Each one is designed and originally handpainted by artist Libby in London making them even more special. Plus she'll be offering custom cards and portraits too if you want something more bespoke; I had one made for my Dad's 60th last year and he loved it.
Deli Products
NEW! Atrangi: These artisanal Indian chutneys are here to shake up your pantry! Each one is handmade using fresh fruits and veggies in the UK following nostalgic family recipes, to help you add a big dose of flavour to whatever you're eating. With absolutely no added sugar, something my PCOS self loves to hear! It's no wonder they've won awards. We can't wait to try their best-sellers: Mango Masala Chutney (where tropical mangoes meet their secret spice mix in this sweet, spiced-up classic) Plus their new and exclusive: the Bombay Sweet Chilli Jam which promises to be sticky, spicy, and screaming with flavour.
NEW! The Pretty Cheese Co: Believe me when I say I've been so excited to try these since we booked these guys in to the market!! The Pretty Cheese Co are a specialty artisan cheese brand that hand crafts high-quality cheeses with expertly sourced ingredients. The result? A range of beautiful and delicious and inventive cheese products which are just the type of thing I'd like to take to a friend's house for dinner, or have in a summer picnic. I'm most excited to try their beautiful cheese balls, which are pretty spheres of cheese coated in a range of different flavours. Crike I'm excited to eat these after a day of shopping at the market!!
Sweet Treats
Marcelo’s Ice Cream: We can hear you screaming already! We are so excited to welcome iconic South London-based ice cream brand Marcelo’s back to the market. Having built up a loyal local following and with so many sell-outs under their belt, we're proud to have secured them for the market meaning you can shop to your heart's content then cool down with one of South London's finest gelatos after. The perfect day? If you haven't already heard of them: James and Lindsay craft luxurious plant-based ice cream in Crystal Palace. Made in a traditional gelato style, it’s rich, creamy and comes in a variety of really innovative flavours. Get there early to secure yours and beat the queues.
