Sunday 28th July: All the brands taking part in our Gipsy Hill Brewery Taproom market

We love hosting markets at a varied array of venues and that’s why we’re so excited to be back on home turf at Gipsy Hill Brewery Taproom this summer! Nestled in the heart of our local community in South East London, the Taproom is a really cool space that combines an outdoor yard with a brewery, bar and an event space. It’s not our most glamorous venue but is special in the hearts of locals for so many reasons and we’re proud to be popping up there again.

As well as our indoor market which will feature 30 different small brands from around the UK each day, you'll be able to order pints, eat delicious street food and find a table to sit down with friends and family to enjoy the day, all in one place. The venue has everything you’ll want all in one place; bevvies from Gipsy Hill Brewery, street food from KERB and of course our market! The perfect way to spend your weekend with friends and pups. Here are the amazing brands that will be trading with us on Sunday 28th July. We have a different line-up of brands on the Saturday which you can find here.

Fashion

NEW! Sister Ellen: We just about died and went to heaven when Sister Ellen dropped in to our inbox wanting a spot at our market! These one of a kind upcycled pieces are playful, delightful, inspiring and full of happy JOY that will make you want to wear them all Summer long. Founder Lydia spent many happy hours with her mum and Nana Mud uncovering treasures at charity shops and markets, and it's this lifelong passion which inspires each of her designs today. Gingham, bows, oversized collars and more, we know you're going to fall in love with these pieces just like we have!

Gerry’s House: Live personalised embroidery available at our next market!! We are sooo excited to welcome wonderful Jen at Gerrys House to our next event, where the wonderful artist will have a live embroidery station at her market stall! Choose from a bandana (omg the 90s dream) hat or other item and have Jen add a cursive word of your choice or one of the many designs she's created for the day. This is the first time we've ever had anything like this and we're buzzing about it! So fun, special and a great way to make summer accessories more characterful and personal to you. Jen will also have embroidered patches to shop too. We'll be sharing lots more details soon!

Grandpa’s Shirts: There’s so much heart in everything Gaby makes and that’s why we love her so much. She started Grandpa’s Shirts inspired by her beloved grandad Lesley who was always so snappily dressed. After he passed away suddenly, she found comfort wearing his favourite golf sweaters and shirts and decided to dust off her sewing machine to carefully edit them so they suited her better. We feel honoured that she’s continued making wonderful shirts and dresses from preloved pieces for the rest of us, and so happy she’s come back to take part in the market again. Find a collection of special and one of a kind upcycled pieces at our next market, in an array of cute pastel colours with lovely ricrac trim and bows galore. You can’t not love these icons! They sell quickly so please arrive early if they’re the reason for your visit.

Batch 1: Independent and sustainable streetwear! These organic cotton tees are designed and printed with original graphics in London by designer and founder Rodney using only water-based and environmentally friendly inks. Designs feature celebrations of much loved foodie classics, like the humble fish finger sarnie, salt beef bagel, hot sauce and, it wouldn’t be South London without mention of fried chicken too. Shop the collection of tees and sweats in sizes XS-XXL from Β£25 at our market.

Edit89: The vintage and luxury fashion reseller will be popping up at our market inside The Hoxton with a collection of top quality, style-led designs carefully curated by founder Amy. I’m chomping at the bit to see what’s going to be on their rail because Amy has THE BEST taste, AND her pieces are affordable, starting from just Β£30. Think vintage Levi’s, oversized blazer and a gorgeous voluminous blow out to finish the look. Covetable, curated and conscious.

Handbags & Accessories

Scrunch by Staise: It wouldn’t be a good market day without the cutest most colourful frilly and chubby scrunchies for you to treat yourself to! So we’re absolutely chuffed and buzzing to welcome Scrunch By Stais to Salad Days for the very first time. Entirely handmade by maker Anastasia, these gorgeous hair accessories can be yours from just Β£15. Available in a wide selection of colours, trims and patterns (Brighton Blue and Mountain Dew are two of my faves!) you’ll be sure to find one or two (or maybe, 10) that are perfect for you.

Nori Mori: In a charming twist of fate, London-based maker and model Crystal followed her name into the wonderful world of sparkling crystal-beaded accessories. Working for hours at a time on each beautiful item, she transforms the humble bead into show-stopping bags, purses, hair bows and accessories. Crystal is bringing so many beautiful things to our next pop-up and is busy working on lots of brand new innovation to dazzle and wow you with, like hair charms! Her gorgeous multicoloured phone charms are always bestsellers (I have two and get so many compliments) so arrive early to shop those if they're the reason for your visit. Welcome back Crystal!

Jewellery

NEW! Folde Jewellery: Folde, meaning earth in old English, seeks to celebrate natural materials and British craftsmanship in jewellery that speaks of everyday luxury. Many items feature components made from Highland Horn, a uniquely textured byproduct material that feels really special, and would otherwise be discarded. My favourite pieces from the collection are the beautiful hairslides and hairpins that are truly unlike anything I've ever seen from a jeweller at our market before. Each uniquely wiggly and crafted from solid sterling silver, this innovation lit a spark of excitement within me.

NEW! Hanifah Jewellery: Hanifah Jewellery wasn't crafted from nursery rhymes, but forged in the fiery crucible of forgotten myths, whispered by ancient deities and giants. Every piece echoes with the untamed spirit of its creator, designer and maker Hanifah Allen, a nomad soul shaped by the clash of cultures. Each handmade piece in the collection is an invitation to embrace your own myth, wear your individuality like a crown, and rewrite your narrative. It's about unleashing the fire within, the untamed spirit whispered by legends and ignited by rebellion! Shop at our next market.

Baby Shr00m: If you love charms and trinkets and beads and shiny, joyful, playful happy little things then you are going to lurrrrve Baby Shr00m big time! These handmade pieces of jewellery feature the cutest little glass beads, colourful stars, unusual big pearls, enamel hearts and so much more. Each one is a little bit different from the last and handmade by maker Ellie, finished with a beautiful gold gold toggle clasp that makes it feel even more special and elevated.

Helen Blair Ceramics: If you’re looking to purchase original handmade ceramics, may I suggest browsing the work of Helen at our next market! As well as the perfect shapes she’s magically able to achieve on the wheel, what we admire most about her one-of-a-kind ceramics are the gorgeous colour combinations she uses. From rosy blush pink to mossy green and deep navy, her glazes are really very chic and all work together perfectly so you can pick-and-mix them together. These are the kind of mugs, bowls and dishes you’d be proud to display in your home, and use for a beautiful tablescape.

Phyllos Ceramics: I challenge you to look one of Phyllis’ handmade ceramics in the eye and not feel a tug at your heartstrings! Their little eyes, their little smiles, their little faces, uh! I know these one-of-a-kind beauties are gonna fly off the shelves at our market. Each one is individually handbuilt by Phyllis in London, giving each its own subtly unique personality and vibe and also meaning there’s a highly limited edition number of them available. The best way to find out which one you adopt is to come to the market and see them IRL!

Elektra Kamoutsis: These gorgeous ceramics from London-based Elektra are more like works of art than functional homewares! Handmade using an entirely (and rather chic) monochromatic colour palette with a focus on graphic shapes and repeat patterns, we love that you can build up your collection of Elektra’s work piece by piece and still create a collection with so much synergy. Find chunky and wobbly pots, vessels, plates and more all in her signature style. These really pack a punch and are really unisex too (you always tell us you’re having trouble finding gifts for guys!)

Homeware & Candles

NEW! Historically Candles: If you tell me something is not only inspired by, but also named after our ultimate Tudor style icon Anne Boleyn then I am going to become obsessed with it immediately and want to tell all my friends about it. Enter Historically Candles! Founder Elizabeth creates home fragrances that reflect different time periods and historical people, providing a way for us all to joyfully engage with history and provide escapism from everyday life. Anne Boleyn is in the core collection featuring notes of lemon, rose and amber.

CR1B Store: We’re really pleased to introduce you to Cr1b home frangrances! Now let me share all the reasons to love them. Firstly the scents. Black Plum and Rhubarb, Tonka and Tobacco, delicious rich flavours perfect to indulge in. Secondly, the candles come with lids! Preventing dust and also making it easier to repurpose the vessel once the wax has been burnt. Each candle starts from just Β£12 so you don’t need to break the bank to treat yourself and they're all handmade in London by Larelle. Finally, I love the thoughtful detail about the name CR1B. The R in the logo reflects a keyhole which represents how Larelle believes we each hold the key to access the best for ourselves. And the number 1 reflects individuality and how we’re each unique in our own special ways. It’s thoughtful little details like this which I always think makes shopping small the best.

Shop Chorus: We are soo proud to present a modern range of cotton and linen napkins, designed to bring style to your everyday dinner table from Chorus. These beautiful pieces will be available to shop for the very first time at our popup market inside Battersea Power Station this Easter!
